i think the timing would benefit from losing a few frames of the descent
https://puu.sh/ChN8l.png Welp. Finally fucking did it, now getting actually payed for doing art for a living.
You got a nice Mount & Blade *event screen* feel to that illustration. Just looking at it makes me feel like I'm about to lose all my troops and become enslaved.
i actually noticed that too while drawing it. "Wait, this looks like a MnB illustration".
Some dumb shit I drew on a dry erase board at one point https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/146362/6bb13174-cf59-4cbd-8989-269d085d60ae/20180723_125217.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/146362/d27b1f0f-5d2e-4c91-b539-c7463d601ccc/20181008_202453.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/146362/6d0d265c-4ed5-4ecd-a680-35ba3c50d1a2/20180814_021401.jpg

I'm posting this a tad early because I'm in dire need of help. This was supposed to be babys first time with water colors as I've always just been using a pencil and sketched for fun but before I knew it I had become invested in my painting even though I knew I would screw up sooner or later and now look at this mess... How do I best soak up the color from over saturated areas? I'm pretty sure this paper wasn't meant for painting since it's warping a lot so I'd like something a tip for doing it with precision and without damaging the paper too much. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/134728/efcfe2ab-1510-49b3-b69e-2f7e8934f0ab/IMG_0075[1].JPG
(Ignore the first quote, still can't erase it on mobile) I hope you don't try to remove any color from this! I can't offer you much advice when it comes to watercolors, but i think the saturation you do have right now looks really nice.

Thanks man I'm just really bothered that I went way heavy on the orange for some of the bricks, same with the brown on the tree stump Live and learn I guess.

Did a band logo idea for if I ever start a death metal band https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/240330/6e356453-d38d-440f-a9d5-43bee68440db/conc.png
Going through some ctrlpaint.com tutorials to get more comfortable with different digital painting techniques, I'm reasonably happy with this. Reference and painting: https://i.imgur.com/w4mqfqU.png
The values and colors looks really great. I don't know but you might be focusing on the metal too much, the handle could use some love, it feels pretty half-assed, but again, the actual bladed part looks solid.
Thanks! I really tried to pinpoint the colors and values without resorting to colorpicking from the original, so I'm glad that turned out well. Yeah, I definitely phoned in the handle a bit. I tend to get overwhelmed by busy materials like wood, so I kind of just winged it at that point and did my own interpretation. I'll have to look in to how to achieve that kind of brushed metal texture. I tried to apply a noise filter at the end to the metal, thought that it would pull off a similar effect but it really didn't do much at all sadly. Thanks for taking the time to give me some pointers, I really appreciate the feedback!

It's uh.. kinda' small, but this is my first ever pixel art. Didn't realize how small it'd scale down to, but the detail looks great I think. https://i.imgur.com/PRD3jEq.png

Ain't sure if this belongs in here, but done a new title card for the classic movie All Quiet on the Western Front since I'm doing a small resound on the movie and decided to give it a new intro. https://i.ibb.co/RPLyL98/titlecard.jpg
