Hell yeah dude that’s bad ass!!! Congrats! I made a second attempt at Making a video. Think the audios at least a little better, unfrontunately my room is in the basement next to the boiler, which makes annoying background noise. Learning everyday how video/audio editing works. Also took the advice from here to try and pick a specific topic/direction with the video https://youtu.be/Dv3KlHW2ciQ

Y'all who use Cintiqs, how are you supposed to get an ergonomic setup using one? How are you supposed to use it without bending your neck? I'm in constant pain lately due to this bastard.
I just lower my chair vv

Alright, gave a shot at making an OC using just Krita, just barely in time for PFLS (Pixiv Fantasia Last Saga, a promotion on Pixiv for original fantasy art). I call him "Geralt Greywolf". Totally not named after my FFXIV character. Reference: https://i.pximg.net/img-master/img/2019/03/17/01/54/53/73721144_p0_master1200.jpg https://i.pximg.net/img-master/img/2019/03/17/01/54/53/73721144_p1_master1200.jpg (That little Japanese memo says "Magic crystal. Accumulate magic to make a large attack! Glows when full. *Only reacts to Geralt himself.") And what came out of it: https://i.pximg.net/img-original/img/2019/03/17/01/43/09/73720951_p0.png I am no artist, so there are probably a lot of parts you guys can shit on me for. It took me way longer than it should have too, about a week straight including coming up with his background. Definitely better than anything I have made before, though.
it looks like your links are broken
Oops. Reuploaded to Imgur, maybe it works now.

science technician at work asked me to make a cycloid curve. Cheeky bugger nabbed it before I could test it myself, but jokes on him as it wasn’t glued together yet - only friction fit. Outsides were CNC cut and inner core was laser cut. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/211011/688ead7c-2e17-47d4-a585-30a0ea761312/65815E4C-630D-43FC-85F7-171B8F084DEE.jpeg

What are good exercises and resources to better understand shapes & perspective? I have a hell of a lot of trouble with these and it's pissing me the fuck off.
There are some resources in the stickied thread if you haven't checked those out yet.
Well shit, I didn't see there was a sticky, I'm blind af. Thank you
I've recently picked up drawing again, after having dropped it a year ago due to poor results and have been trying to wrap my head around figure drawing. Is there anyone here that could help me and give me some pointers or something as to why my things just look so stiff and unnatural. Even when using real life pictures as reference material, I just can't seem to make the translation between what I see and what I draw on the paper, it just feels to loose and janky. https://imgur.com/a/5xbnqlA
I feel like this kind of aesthetic is cliché as frig, but I still like how this turned out. Plus it's been knocking around my brain for days, so I had to put it to screen. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/198768/eeff37a7-dea4-4fed-b1b2-087680cb5ccb/image.png
Final entry for PFLS! (it ends day after tomorrow) Is a response to this. Basically, it is an unofficial event within PFLS where the giant monster is very dangerous and we must deal with it. The Wolf and the Great Evil Spirit (does that translation sound right in English?) https://i.imgur.com/VZNKsmY.jpg
hi @daigennki ! i quite like the background of your piece, and the composition is unique. here are some suggestions: the closer creature's anatomy is confusing. it's difficult to tell what its body parts are, which would be fine except it's also hard to tell where it resides spatially. it's looking off to the right, too, which has it seem as if it's ignoring the heroes - don't know if that's intentional. i would give the viewer a better look at the monster - what are its intentions? how does it represent a threat? the heroes being given hard black outlines and flat colors don't mesh well with the rest of the picture, with its lack of outlines and painterly vibe. unless you want to make a point of different styles colliding, you usually want the style of a piece to be cohesive. based on the heroes themselves, i would recommend using and studying references of the human body to determine how such a view should look. most notably, the grey-haired character's hand is very small, and both of them have rather large heads compared to their shoulders (this may be a stylistic choice, and if it is, fair enough!) the ears also look off, as if they're taped to the heads of the heroes. good luck!
I assumed that viewers would already know some context, considering it is based off of another artwork, the one I linked to. You are right though, maybe I should have put the monster further away in the back and actually doing something. Thank you for the feedback. I knew something did not seem right but I could not quite figure out what it was. I will try better next time.
Risk of Rain 2 is very fun. I highly recommend it. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/109811/3636185c-ed38-4ccc-b071-83bfb78538aa/RULES OF NATURE.png
Putting my Scenic Arts degree to good use and making a Thomas the tank engine cake for my nephew. CAD plans have been drawn up. Baking and construction begins tomorrow! https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/211011/25664c00-0fd0-4c80-a107-4359e79ad90a/Capture.PNG
This probably doesn't belong on this thread so it can get moved if so. Nobody colorized this photo from Robert Capa so I decided to do it myself through Photoshop. PFC. Raymond Bowman was supporting his division on retaking a bridge from German forces in the year of 1945 in Lipzieg. During the Assault, Bowman went to man the gun while his partner went down stairs to acquire ammo, during that time, Robert Capa was next to him taking an array of action photos until he was suddenly struck in the head by a German Sniper. Robert Capa retreated into the house and yelled out for the others of a man down. He took this photo after doing so. The apartment complex where Bowman died was renamed to Bowmanstrasse in his honor years later. https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/972123142786278087/7973E52A0FE317FAA51F36C60F659B39F61AB4DB/
