rendering looks really good on the face, but the hair looks kind of rushed and detracts from the overall quality a bit. it also blends in with the background much more than the original picture

it's still soft. the softness is not unacceptable if it looks good/is intentional, the hair on top of her head looks really good for example. the muddiness all around the arm doesn't. and the harder strokes that make her lower hair and the shawl or whatever it is are very undescriptive. no cloth looks like that, it's more like a matte blue clay or something. it's jolly that you're trying to paint harder but that needs reference. also her hand appears to be hovering just flush with her jawline rather than cupping and supporting her face. the painting issues are more important to consider though
