This needs a ton more material work. I'm feeling it's a bit too busy so I'll probably replace the base material with something less contrast-y. Doing all of this procedurally has been a blast though. I'm adding custom carving and a few other features to the system. Also considering looking into volume depositions to add things like piled up dirt/snow/moss/whatever to the actual high-res mesh rather than only in the masks.

Oh this is from you? Saw that on reddit a while ago.
Yeah Was a bit late to post it here because honestly FP is dying for me, i hang here for this thread and the Videos subforum. Not being able to see popular threads removed my ability to care about any other subforums here.
Here's a thing that I made. More shots here: ArtStation

Here's a bit of Simon Stalenhag fanart, I know FP digs his stuff
I was -not- happy with the results of my procedural rock system, so I overhauled large portions of it. I'm much happier now.

I made a thing for a friends stream. Some rigid body and smoke simulation.

Excuse the big watermark, on stream the background would be transparent too.
2D graphics are from her existing notifications and this one actually builds up on another one I made before (basically just the small ones falling and Heimerdinger going through).
You've got some weird wobbly bake stuff going on here:

I've seen a few of your models posted here and I'm a little bit curious about what your goal is with your art? as in - Are you aiming for realism or stylized? Technically I think they're quite good and it appears you can make them quite fast, but It's hard to tell where they sit on that spectrum. I think it'd be awesome to see you try something a bit more detailed, maybe one big intricate car with a higher polycount and all the tiny bits and pieces of detail modelled and baked down.

Procedural geo + textures. Got eight wall pieces done, now moving to floor slabs.
Most of these vehicles are environmental props for other people's various projects. And honestly, the main thing stopping me from making a really big, fully detailed car is my own short attention span, I've started a few in the past, but never finished any of them
Working on some Animal Crossing-esque furniture

Lost this thread for a bit, made a few things meanwhile.
Have a wizard guy.

And I redid my kobold (Pretty questionably nsfw, so tagged just in case):

That's a very cute wizard. His feet look weirdly tiny though, and I think the mask is a bit too much. I'd rather see a fun expression of some sort. The headtilt in the idle animation is cute as heck though.
Thanks! Yeah this model was actually a commission for a mute. Not the "shy to talk" kinda mute either. He really wanted a "face-less" type model so that people didn't get the impression that he could talk.
The tiny feet and huge hands were me experimenting with proportions, the fact that you didn't mention the huge hands just makes it seem like I didn't make the feet very well. Do you think I should've went for some more realistic feet, but keep the tiny size?
The huge hands seem to fit in a stylistic way, but the tiny feet look like you selected the vertices and scaled them down. That might have to do with everything below the thighs looking like straight cylinders. I think you need more detail in the overall form to make the feet seem more fitting.

O hey, it's been a while since I last made a video. This is my first ever HDR video, I hope it looks good because i don't have any HDR displays. 😬
Oh and the description has more cool info but in total the particle cache took around 350GB of space. So I had to buy a new ssd raid to be able to render this.

Might as well post what I'm working on at the mo
Damn that motel reminds me of my work trip to Atlanta.
I'm glad it reminds you of something, hopefully that motel was grimey because that's what I'm going for lmao.

Here's the project I was working on during my time at Montreal, there's a few shots with my level in the background. I tried super fucking hard to light this alongside doing the set dressing (from greybox, alone) but hopefully they've fixed a bunch of the issues that cropped up since I left. Was certainly an interesting experience, especially since I was the only artist on this level.
