I found the spider (Huntsman Spider) in the rubber seal around my car door.
Most are probably aware of them already already but I really like this seller. I went to buy a UV filter before my new camera arrived and discovered them. All the packaging is recyclable and all purchases go towards planting trees - you get a little card in the box for registering how many trees you've helped plant.
Do you notice any ghosting/flaring from the filter? If not I'll buy 3 or 4 for my lenses (I smashed my 82mm B+W nano on my 24-70 while drunk)
They look too affordable compared to other brands.
I wouldn't add questionable glass on expensive lens.
Not shot with it much, took a bunch of photos of our dog in the sun today so I'll take a close look at them and report back.
I just wanted something to protect the lens. If I notice any image degredation I'll go for something of higher quality but I couldn't afford to go all out on filters after I emptied my savings.
So this is worst case scenario, I was shooting into the sun here so I was expecting to get a flare. Is the green cast it's got related to the UV filter or is this to be expected? Also worth pointing out that they have 3 tiers of glass and I've got the lowest (entry level) tier.

I bought a cheap secondhand NEX-6 and converted it for IR photography. The 680nm IR pass filter (also cheap) seems to work well, at wider angles anyways, at longer focal lenghts it can get quite blurry.
On this photo I swapped the red and blue channels.

Yesterday was Swedish national day and our royal family does this thing where they go by horse-drawn carriage to a nearby zoo/animal shelter/museum thing and do a speech, I managed to get really good seats for their trip so took some nice photos
