couple of darkroom prints, as usual scans are crap. They seem to have lost a bit of contrast, the first picture has an almost 3d look to it on glossy paper

I love the mailbox one, nice depth to the image.
Thanks, I knew as soon as I saw the letters standing out on the negative I wanted to play with it. And there's still some work I'd like to do with it, I knocked over the developer tray after doing this one and decided to call it a night
took some photos at a local park about a month ago, i'm somewhat glad with what i took
i hope modifying pictures post shoot isn't against the rules or something, my pictures came out a bit faded so i decided to modify the contrast/saturation a bit

I take a lot of pictures and have a nice camera, although I tend to just use it for 3D scanning and photography for textures, a neat shot leaks through from time to time.

Sorry if this is gonna sound harsh, but I'm not a fan of these 2. The angles felt too cropped, and the lighting looks really bad on her face on the second one. Her right face cheek is sorta oddly discoloured.
Plus it feels like there is too much information going on in the photo on the second one.
I prefer the first, would had been better if the bench wasn't cropped off.
Thanks for the feedback, yeah the cheek is my fault. It's due to dodging and burning and I did a bad job of it. I get you with the crop of the first, I don't think it ruins the photo but that was the best I could do with my crop body and me against a wall and I didn't like the other angles I took around the bench as much.
What do you mean by too much information? I thought it was quite a simple photo, are there too many colors?
The pillars, where the leadings are (I know its towards the lady) but I feel its kinda distracting, the left hand side.
It might be just me though, but I would had preferred getting a full body shot, and maybe shoot wide open.
