Hey ign, just something I've been thinking about saying for a time now. On your pictures during the day I noticed all your pictures are being shot wide open, except for the night shots when you stop down your aperture past the diffraction limit at f22. How come you never stop down your aperture to intermediate apertures like f/8, even at things that would benefit from a stopped down aperture like architecture (buildings)? I genuinely think some of your pictures would be way better if you just used a slightly stopped down aperture or use a tad higher iso when the light situation commands so. And the 24-105L is just a lens that doesn't perform that well wide open, so using that for architecture almost demands you stopping it down. A lot of your pictures now have a insane high shutter speed like 1/4000 in situations you could also just use like 1/250 and easily get away with that. I mean you own a 6D which has great iso performance without looking very grainy up to iso 1600 or so. You're not getting the full potential out of your camera this way you're using it. Maybe other people think like this as well but they don't want to risk offending you but I think this isn't just to criticise on you, it's also constructive criticism which might help you improve your photos. I just hope I won't get burned down for this comment though.
Finally got a chance to edit another one of the shots from the other day. Typically I shoot at F22 because I've liked having starburst for my night landscape shots. And aside from that, usually, I am afraid of high ISOs. I only go up to 3200 if I have to. But then now I think I'm kinda overdoing it with all that starbursts. I'm just so used to either shooting on the opposite ends of the apertures (either I go wide or small) that I just never really bother about apertures in the middle.
