I was on an assignment to take some photos at some meat factories in Poland, for an organization based in Sweden. Got the offer two days before the planned trip!

Well, it's all about making the most out of the time at a job - "Two for them, one for me". I guess you can apply the same mentality to any situation. Especially if you get the opportunity to shot at places you usually don't have access to.

I really enjoyed the conversations with the people working at those places. Made the atmosphere more tolerant and accepting.

"Didn't even cross my mind to take "creative" photos at the time" - I guess that's the best thing about photography. You get to challenge yourself in each situation.

Btw I just have to say that I like your style! It has that photojournalism-vibe. It's honest and direct.

I feel like this picture is part of a story. As an individual picture it didn't give me that much. It looks as if he's searching for something, which makes me think that it would be a tad better if he was in another context/place that accentuated that particular feeling.

Did some film stuff. Canon AV-1, Fuji Superia 400, 50mm f/1.8 and 28mm f/2.8. I think I need to invest in a film scanner, the scans from the developer are low res and seem pretty soft.
