Its a trend, and its on the current bandwagon, along with the inverted lense, okay hand on sun, using old CD disks on girl or fairy lights. It might work in some cases, but it loses meaning when you do it on everything.
Plus its a damn glass ball, you gotta give it to these clever folks swimming in cash by cashing in on the current trend.

Disagree is just bc you can definitely take an awful photo with any camera ;) I don't think it's a bad photo by any means, but maybe it could use a lot more shadow detail, tonally I think it's leaning towards a little flat and boring. Cool subject though!

That's a fair comment, I could probably recover a lot of detail the software I'm using isn't very intuitive so I pretty much just do autolevels atm

it's taken me a while to decide to share this because I feel it comes off as pretentious, especially without context, but whatever
often I don't manage to sleep for several days, and if it goes long enough I see things sometimes that aren't there
recently I had gone 3 nights without sleep and I saw the Earth in the sky just after sunset, just for a moment before it melted into the clouds and vanished
I went back to the same place at the same time the next day and took a picture with the intent of trying to recreate what I saw in Photoshop, more for my own enjoyment than anything
I decided to get myself in the picture for some reason which I never do which probably helps to make me so insecure about it

The camera was a Pentax ME Super with the stock lens, 35mm film. They're far from perfect, but I enjoyed it and really like how the final products have turned out. I've bought my own camera and I'm going to give it a go as a new hobby in 2018.
