Has anyone done any rolling shots of cars, I'm looking for some tips before I go out on Saturday.
Has anyone done any rolling shots of cars, I'm looking for some tips before I go out on Saturday.
Give the car room to move in the frame. If there is no road in front of the car in the frame the feeling of motion is lost. Showing where the car came from helps too.
Something about your aperture seems weird. I would either go more open or more closed.
Something about your aperture seems weird. I would either go more open or more closed.
How do you mean?
Been working on a book project for one of my college classes. I need to remake the pdf because I didn't make it in InDesign and I don't want to pay Blurb $5 for my own PDF lol but here is a pic and a spread from the book. I would never get the idea that the composition of the last one would work but it does. Personally I would say for composition try and weight the subject on the opposite side of the frame to where they are looking, so that it gives more space for them to move to. Kind of like what The Salmon said above regarding car photos, it's good to leave subjects room to move in the frame. That said I prefer it a lot to your last few photos, lighting is on point, exposure is nice, subject is interesting, and editing is well done

What's people's go-to for film developing? I got a nice Olympus a few months ago and now have a few rolls that I'd like to see developed. I don't really need any prints; I'd probably prefer higher-quality scans. It's just standard 35mm C41 and BW.

Its super easy, you could do it all in a closet.

New guy here, but I went hunting last week and decided to take my camera along with me to keep me entertained in the stand. Took a couple okay photos I think for just being a cheap DSLR. [t]http://i.imgur.com/nRbDg71.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/SWGs8zU.jpg[/t]
see if there is an independent local developers near you, and I recommend learning how to develop B&W yourself. Its super easy, you could do it all in a closet.
I've been considering devleoping myself, my dad used to do it and seemed interested in teaching me. I'm more interested in getting nice quality scans which I don't really have the equipment for however. Surprisingly for a college town there are no camera stores that develop film.
Man I suck at composing when it's cold, I just wanna get it overwith so pretty much all pictures suck. Thses ones I thought were alright
Is the last one "slanted" or can my brain just not cope with the perspective/lens effects?
