I have a question about the Out of Map Bounds image on the menu screen

So recently I've found myself obsessed with Vioxtar's Out of Map Bounds artwork, and I just wanted to know how he could have possible done the sand in the artwork, not the sand dunes, rather the subtle details within the sand, I want to know what props/models he used in the for those details done. I love scenebuilding myself and I would love to have these models yet I just don't know what they are from, I've looked in Znalecc's Spec Ops The Line pack and unless I'm blind they can't be in there. I've almost given up on this but on the off chance someone replies and knows what the models are, thanks in advance.

He doesn't do any of his artwork in Gmod, he uses photoshop with images of gmod props and real/painted landscapes, that's why you tend to see things that are not impossible in gmod like the sand you described.
I don't remember the details of the article but I've found it nonetheless:
https://gmod.facepunch.com/blog/mega-builders/
It bugs me out to know that the "Mega builder of Gmod" doesn't even use Gmod for his pictures, but then again he never claimed he only uses gmod, and it's Gmod inspired Art, so it counts.
Uhhh, what you're saying doesn't really add up, I don't really mind if he does what you claim with other artworks, which I doubt, I've been scenebuilding for a bit now and have done research, I've even contacted Vioxtar and he has told me the assets used for his art, I even have them in GMod, hell I could name them, he just couldn't remember what props he used for those subtle sand details as this art was made like 5 years ago, but anyway, I know this one wasn't exactly what you described, he may have used images for the tiny details but look at the second image, you can clearly see it's GMod, you can clearly see this is one whole scene, you can clearly see the props placed there, you can clearly see that I've circled the actual props I'm interested in. There is one other image of this artwork, which is the same shot as the final image, just without the soft lamps enabled, and without the slight photoshop editing, such as the sky or slight fog by the ground, the things circled in the second photo are props, or rather GMod effects, which are like props, yet they have no collision models, so they show up as the prop with this little green circle in the middle, but I'll call them props, I was just asking what those props where from.
Also, I read the article, all of it, and it looks to me that you may or may not have gotten the wrong idea from, well I dunno the "How do you finesse the final image" paragraph, but I don't know, maybe I'm missing something, but I know that Out of Map Bounds was not multiple images of GMod props, I can even explain to you how he did the red van for example, I know most the props there, in the photos and you can see, those aren't seperate images, theres no point to that unless the image is so huge and demanding, something like Spawn Point Zero for example, he had to take different screenshots of parts of the image so he wouldn't run into the problems the Source Engine would give, and he could focus more on lighting and things like that. Maybe I'm missing something though.
It has been some months since I've read the article and all that I remember from it was what I told you, what? Reading it again? That's preposterous!
Look, I just wanted to know what props he actually used there. As I've been creating similar artworks (post-apocalyptic), granted they're obviously way worse than Vioxtar's art yet I'm still creating them, and these props would help out a lot with improving the quality of my art.
Those seem to be generic random terrain models. If you have a compile template for props it takes a bunch of minutes to model and compile those. You sure need some good sand textures and bumpmaps for the shading.
So I found the props used, turned out they were in the Spec Ops The Line pack, but the prop was so massive that I didn't even consider it, case closed everybody, thanks for trying to help, I appreciate it.
