i'll port it anyway and upload it when its done anyway then, and i'll ask him myself then. if he says no, ill take it back down, but my concience will be clear at that point as he wasnt very specific, a shrug is a shrug, i mostly see it as a "why not" or "i dont know" i have also started work on the TF2 styled train, first experiment ended in failure, its physics did not behave, trying again roadhog skin will be re-worked and then uploaded still waiting for word from the ancient dragon (and the engineer for that matter) will start work on Priscilla when i get a reply so next update will be Friday tent road hog

Yeah, there's also a texture thing i might need you to figure out, there's these _c textures which are the green specular channel and rougness textures which are red specular channel but i'm not sure how to apply them correctly. Add me here KingofKings #8414 i'll provide the gdrive link as i don't want everyone getting a copy of the model with some of my errors.

i've already ported samuel, but for some reason i have trouble getting him to spawn, when i can get him to spawn to check if he works, ill ask the original author if i can upload. as for the demons, i could have sworm they were all on gmod already. but if they arent, ill try my hand at porting them from sfm to gmod

in regards to permission to port things from sfm to gmod? nah, i'll handle it this time, but in future, anyone that wants to make a request. ask them, and receive the reply BEFORE you come here and ask. if they say yes, then you dont need to worry about me having to wait with the finished product just gathering dust, if they say no, it saves me time

Hey Midgerm, are you able to rig models for garry's mod but not for the intention of using them for SFM? I paid someone to model something for me, I just need someone to rig the model.
thats generally how i port things to gmod. everything in sfm can work in gmod. and you can even make them ragdolls by simply adding a physics mesh - but do you mean can it be OPTIMIZED for gmod? well that depends heavily on what parts it has. it has to have at or under 128 bones (if i recall the gmod limit correctly) and have under 22 - 21 materials (again, if i recall correctly)

mini update concerning my last mini update - i have now potentially solved the problem with limbs not obeying me when in-game when porting from XNALara! now i just need to test a new hypothesis i have concerning why its invisble to an extent. does this mean that i can now add XNALara to the list of things i will try to port to gmod? potentially. if this next test works out how i think it will - hope it will. then yes, if not, then not right now
