indeed, i just didnt release him yet cause i thought you'd want them all in a pack, but i guess cause they were uploaded on SFM seperatly it wouldnt hurt to do it on gmod too, ill upload him soon
uploaded agust. sorry it took a while. been sick, my entire right legg swelled up after it got eaten by bugs. possibly bed bugs (hope thats fixed now) and most importantly, i been on a roll of porting science and other props from call of duty advanced warfare, specifically, the zombies maps. now i have boys in their undies, floating in a tank with oxygen masks for all your science needs. comming soon to a gmod and sfm near you

I think if you want something only partially transparent, you have to make sure the alpha channel for that transparent part is gray and not black.

speaking of. i am continuing the port things from cod-advanced warfare. and its exo zombies mods and multiplayer maps. but i am also (TRYING) to port from games like dying light, Alien versus predator 2010, crysis 2 (more like renewing my efforts on those three) and prototype 2.
and i might port characters from bioshock 2 myself as there were a few of them floating around, like elanor lamb and her mother, but their gone now.
had an interesting development in regards to the dyling light attempted ports.
while using ninja ripper i was able to get the textures for the volatiles, as well as some (pretty crappy) low poly meshes of their bodies and heads. but thats not the interesting part; i found if i (and make a copy of it, just to be safe) rename the data files to .zips, i can unzip them, and they contain odd files.
for characters i get an .MPCLOTH file, for everything else its a .bel file or a screensaver file. very odd, to me at least as i dont know what to do with them. so i'll stick to ninja ripper for now.
but how DOES ninja ripper really work? eh, guess ill figure that out later. at least i know its a game of chance on what files are named. their all named *varying number*.RIP. just have to go through each and every one of them. the meshes DO get extracted from protoype 2 with varying ammounts of success, textures i dont seem to have any trouble with....i dont think
for now, just now that roadhog is done (if i recall correctly) and cora is pretty much done as well (i think, ill double check later) and when i upload her it'll be alongside peebee and whatnot.

@Midgerm regarding DOOM models - the SNPC pack you mentioned? It has no ragdolls what soo ever - just a bunch of effects that are used with animations.

About XCOM models on my SFM Workshop - permission graunted (and always free to edit\use\upload as long as I credited as original author\co-author\whatever).
But Viper seems WIP on my side. I have already ported Sectoid but it taked down from Workshop. Other things never been ported to Gmod.
so i've been playing alot of halo wars 2 and borderlands 2 with my freinds recently, but i havent abandoned the models
small update, cora's encounterd some problems on her casual model, so ill quickly redo her from scratch to see if that fixes it.
but her other model seems to be fine
peebee's NSFW model seems to be fairing better. i would have had a (censored) picture here to show, but my game crashed, so ill be seeing if she's the cause of that and how to possibly fix it.
quick, and possibly, final, update on roadhog before his upload, which is imminent. (this is possibly the last update with him that does not include a download link), he's now got a kind of....over-layer of pink...i'll try to fix that before his release
as for DOOM, ill start working on the demons again, but samual?....eh.....he's not doing so good
How's the development of the Palutena GMOD port
have yet to make any real progress on it due to other models which i just simply felt like doing more. as well playing the games i have. it will get done, but i have models that i HAVE done that only need polishing up to release that i want to get out of the way first....actually the ones that need polishing up and to be released are the only ones i can remember off the top of my head that i have permission to release that are ready and simply need a polishing up. i frequently go through and recheck the requested models and see if they have come with permission or not. and i always prioritize models that have come earlier then others, its a sort of first-come first serve list i have.
truth be told, yea, i could easily have done her many times over in the time i have spent playing games or just lounging around. but as i do these at my leisure, they get done when i feel like it, and there's the que to take into account.
just to clarify.
these models i have worked on and are either finished or nearly there, and i have permission
black captains of mordor. i'd say 80% done
batman firefighters, police, paramedics 80% done
raodhog (ready and waiting) just needs a few polish ups 99%
mass effect chicks, cora, peebee - all of them are 89%

and now, the two that had fallen down the list as time went on, but were requested a while ago and have been bumbed up to the top of the que
the tent is, like roadhog, pretty much all done, i just forgot about it and it fell under all the other requests. the train, i had run into a problem with and had given up on for the time being. but i am redoubling my efforts on that.
so, in order of things im working on
roadhog and the tent, VERY top of the list.
the train is next because it feelsl ike i just abandoned it.
then the mass effect chicks
then the batman characters, the firefighters, the paramedics ect.
then i can get back to palutena
the list is subject to change depending on what i feel like, or if i have forgotten about models that have permission granted and i simply forgot about
