Any suggestions as to how the hell am I gonna make the skybox to this?
If you're feeling adventurous you could export some prefab buildings to obj and build the skybox in blender.
It does not look like ME yet, it needs more bloom :VVV

Just wanna tell you that I'm loving this, I find this kind of modern Japanese architecture super cool and I'm hyped every time I see your progress. Also really like the lighting right now!
Any plans to turn this into a bigger Japanese suburb type map?

got some okay work on RP_SpringYardCity_UT changed some things because of lag so its more compact
This has a lot of potential, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it develops.
This glass/glass border is driving me bananas, though.

I would honestly just border it with a brush. That way you can use whatever glass texture you see fit, and it has a realistic end point somewhere.
Yall ever try to drag google earth stuff kicking and screaming into hammer? This is a test abusing the hell out of photogrammetry and a building local to me.

OH SHIIIIIIIIIIIIT coooooooool! Hey did you ever get around the problem of collisions during compiling the model going "mmm I don't know about that chief" and just doing the ol' convex wrapping job?
I didn't even think about collisions and just fudged it in broad-strokes with nodraw brushes.
I wonder if I can get any area around my town horribly imported into hammer through G.Maps
To be honest I just used a combination of google earth and 3DF Zephyr Free, then used blender for simplifying/trimming/importing the model
Yo. It's a kinda bummer google maps can't be ripped directly. Even tho it is a cube chunk design (like minecraft) the data is all over the place. A really bad renderer.
Are you my twin? I was doing literally the same exact setup except my triple monitor setup is all 17" 'rs.

What are the source for these custom textures? I use Quixel megascans but even these look a lot better. Would like to use a couple of these for my upcoming map.
