I didn't download them, but the name of the 3DS Max tools looks identical to TaylorMouse's so it's probably those. In that case, those tools still very much work, but only with raw files, not OWMDLs.
Even after the model format change in 1.13?
I certainly didn't notice any problems. I've been able to import .00C files as long as Over/DataTool has extracted to that format. TaylorMouse hasn't been around in forever, but the tool still works.
Although I'm not sure if it imports cloth bones with correct hierarchy (which I believe was made to work recently?). That might be one drawback to them being old import tools.
Any idea why this error popping when importing OWANIM/EFFECT onto OWEntity? (I'm using Genji with highlight intro animation)

It's trying to load a model to a model socket (hardpoint) that doesn't exist. Did you delete any "empty" objects before importing the owanim?
If anyone wants me to add some specific stuff to the documentation, just say so. I do things that come to mind. Planning to do flags n stuff "soon".
Do you have those image files? And can you PM me them?
does anyone know to fix this issues in blender and dva face is missing to

A few questions:
-Can I contact @Naomi or @zingballyhoo in some more convenient way? Preferably discord. Mostly for quick questions about wiki.
-What if the purpose of the list-highlights mode? I assume it takes the in game highlights you have and provides you with some data about them? Or what.
Nope. I imported OWEntity and immediately imported OWAnim/Effect.
What version of blender do you have. I believe that 2.79.6 is the most compatible with the current importer
I use 2.79b.
Guess I'll try 2.79.6 though
Moved it: https://owdev.wiki/User:Yukimono/Datatool/Modes
does anyone know to Translate all this bones in to the normal bone name
Where did you put the "datatool documentation"?
I put it in a folder that was called QuickTime data tool
Accidentally deleted it sorry. I'll rewrite it later today
what
He was answering my question, which wasnt for him . Ill see if i can find it in the history.
How do you know the file names? Do you have the image files my friend :?
Any idea then why that hardpoint error appears?
Naomi, we have to organise the wiki a bit better. As much as i appretiate all of the effort and work you put into the overtool/datatool project, i dont think its good if we turn a title like "Modes" into "User:Yukimono/Datatool/Modes". It makes it look like you are putting yourself ahead of the solution you are presenting. After all, people who would visit the wiki are there to learn about datatool and how to use it. So i suggest instead of grouping everything under your name that you perhaps make an "About us" page or something like that, where you can talk about who did what n stuff. I know i dont have much influence over what you wanna do with this kinds of stuff but thats just how i would solve it. Decide for yourself.
I am extracted kerrigan widowmaker sking but when i want to impor animation i am taking this error . How can i fix thath ?

The owdev wiki is about more than just DataTool, everything related to it should be kept in one spot.
I stand by my decision.
The only compromise I'm willing to make is moving it from User:Yukimono to Community_Projects, like the wowdev.wiki page: Community Projects
But the pages should not intermix with normal pages, that will become a huge mess, furthermore we do not own the entire wiki. Marlamin does.
The wiki should not be solely for Datatool, it should be primarily about understanding Overwatch file formats.

I used else if instead of elif, caused a syntax error
Hi Naomi, thank you for updating the blender importer. Unfortunately, I'm still having the same issue. I'm using the importer you posted yesterday (fresh reinstall) and Blender 2.79b with "blender render" selected during import. This is what the model looks like with the texture viewpoint shading selected:

After export to fbx, this is what the model looks like in 3DS with textures assigned:

And this is what happens if I export to xps:

Would you have any idea what the issue is? I apologize for having trouble with this.
