Latest updates have made a lot of changes and broke everything but things are starting to look optimistic. Stay tuned for updates.
They also made a PTR bug slip into the Live version that makes the game to stop loading on some hardware but that can be fixed by the command-line argument --tank_WorkerThreadCount 1
BTW I'm working on a project to get xyx0826's DataTool GUI up to date with the new commands, like the deduplication one and some others. I'll wait for the new tools and check out the updated test build I made to see if I made it right.
Hej, Luc. Chciałbym się z Tobą skontaktować, napisz na tego maila jeśli możesz ;) StrefaPD @ gmail . com Pozdrawiam! ;)
Hi, I have a question. I want to have Ashe's 3D model, but it doesn't work from here. CASC CDN Cache path is C:\Users\KimMunsoo\Downloads\toolchain-release\datatool_1.26.0.637\CascCache DataTool v1.26.0.637-git-656e87f5a391791ab68e51a8f3755aecf57b5ebf Initializing CASC... Set language to enUS Using Overwatch Version 1.30.0.1.52926 Loading APM TactManifest/Win_SPWin_RDEV_LenUS_EExt.apm Mapping... Adding Encryption Keys... Tooling... Initializing... What should I do? Please help me.
You need the newest version of Datatool, which isn't out yet.
Or is it??? No, it's not but it will be very soon.
DataTool 1.30.0.792: https://ci.appveyor.com/api/buildjobs/ynu747xsm5vja8b4/artifacts/dist%2Ftoolchain-release.zip TankView: https://ci.appveyor.com/api/buildjobs/ynu747xsm5vja8b4/artifacts/TankView%2Fbin%2FTankView.zip ow.keys: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/overtools/OWLib/master/TankLib/ow.keys Changelog: Support for new 1.30 APM/CMF format, AssetPackage format, "bundle"/BinaryPackageData format, "string"/DisplayText format and MaterialData format. extract-hero-convo can now extract lines from non-hero conversation participants. (e.g. blackwatch pilot from retribution) Missing Halloween voice lines can now be extracted. (note: I did't change anything directly here, who knows why it works now) Added large skin portrait to extraction. I don't think I've missed any new formats, please let me know if anything doesn't work anymore. Note: this release supports both latest live and the first 1.30 live release.
After I exported conversations CMD said: System.Exception: missing RIFF    w DataTool.ConvertLogic.Sound.WwiseRIFFVorbis..ctor(Stream stream, String codebooksFile)    w DataTool.SaveLogic.Combo.ConvertSoundFile(Stream stream, Stream outputStream)
Yeah, some of the sound files in a weird format. The error is completely harmless, just means some files will be missing for now.
McCree voicelines don't work in conversations with Ashe. When you try to extract his convo or just voice it shows some strings of errors: System.Exception: missing RIFF    in DataTool.ConvertLogic.Sound.WwiseRIFFVorbis..ctor(Stream stream, String codebooksFile)    in DataTool.SaveLogic.Combo.ConvertSoundFile(Stream stream, Stream outputStream) System.Exception: missing RIFF    in DataTool.ConvertLogic.Sound.WwiseRIFFVorbis..ctor(Stream stream, String codebooksFile)    in DataTool.SaveLogic.Combo.ConvertSoundFile(Stream stream, Stream outputStream) System.Exception: missing RIFF    in DataTool.ConvertLogic.Sound.WwiseRIFFVorbis..ctor(Stream stream, String codebooksFile)    in DataTool.SaveLogic.Combo.ConvertSoundFile(Stream stream, Stream outputStream)
I have a problem when I import the Ashe model in Blender. some .ovmdl Only shows the bones. And others give error. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/349319/a44ed925-70ef-4f0b-9dfc-13c2c8d43a3a/Captura.JPG
( Кто то с русских выжил ?)
This, datatool exports highest resolution. Use waifu2x to upscale them.
I'll leave this here since it might help somebody: If you update OW to the latest version and have an error while loading packages with DataTool, start the game, exit and try again. Fixed it for me.
Oh shit that means OW is using depot streaming now.
Nice work on updating so fast. I've been using DataTool for a while, but I'd like to give TankView a try. Can someone post a quick (but very basic) guide to using it? I saw something posted a month ago about using it to open a CASC archive, but I don't even know where to find/make one of those...
Just sharing (not a bug) In ESMX, all the audios are now under new codification. They maintained the same folders name but every ogg file name has changed.
So, I made a release of the updated QuickDataTool GUI here. It's the older branch which was simpler to test out than the experimental branch. I added the deduplication option to the GUI, and updated the outdated command names, and fixed the title-related problem that made its version number to repeat every time the "Start" button were pressed. TBD: A working option for the hero-convo command.

You have to use the name of the hero in the language you chose.

i Update io_scene_owm to version 2.0.1 .. and now dont give me errors. But still show only bones in some models This is bob https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/349319/f9ae37d5-2a80-4159-8a8c-d57e154e4662/Captura.JPG
Dude the message above yours is me replying to someone with the exact same issue. You have to use the name of the hero in the language you chose.
Is it possible to extract OWL skins yet? I've tried a lot of queries with no luck...
You can extract them by using the leagueTeam filter "*|leagueTeam=*" however models/skins or something don't work. There are no plans to support them.
Ah thanks, the problem was I was typing League instead of league
I'm back, and I'd like some clarification on something. So I'm on the texturing process and I got Lucio's visor working by just snatching the node layout my brother jerryrigged for his tattoo and skate details (note: my version of Blender is apparently just behind enough that I don't have a principled shader to work with. ;~;.)-- https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/347704/fde2c05f-0044-4311-a8d0-a918edaa1861/luciomodelwip03.png I chose 000000003E41 for the diffuse, which is the visor texture that desaturates to black in the middle, and then combined it with the bump map normal 000000003E41. So, I mean, it looks correct, or at least correct enough. Kind of proud of myself. However, there's a third visor texture just dangling there in the main folder- 000000003EA3- which is the same as the image for the diffuse, except it goes to white instead of black. Do I need that thing for ANY reason or can I just get away with not using it? I figured it wouldn't be there for no reason and I want this model as game-accurate as I can get away with, but I can't see what I even need it for.
I'm looking for the weapon sound files and the pachimari squeak sound it makes when you hit it, but I only find the voicelines. Someone knows how to extract them?
Tools pretty much only extract voicelines, you'll have a very hard find finding other sounds.Extracting skins does extract all sounds related to the skin and the base skin does include weapon sounds but they still won't be easy to find. As for the pachimari squeaks, there is no way for the tools to extract them and will be virtually impossible to find unless someone already has them. There is over 50,000 sound files in the game so...
