Try winrar also when they are ripped they will only make 1 file, so you have to make sure all 4 parts are downloaded, in the same folder, and have the same name beside "part 1", "part 2" so on.
Oooh I didn't realize it was chained like that, it works now! Thank you.
does someone know if there is a model of the gundam astaroth?
HG_217
Speaking of the Astaroth I swear I saw its tiny knife browsing the files for New Gundam Breaker, but now I cant find it at all anymore now that I need it. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/289121/98847ea8-7408-47b9-89e7-3c77959d3013/knife.jpg looks like this maybe I'm just being dumb and blind and its right there under my nose, not sure anymore. I know ive sifted through the weapons several times to no luck
SKHG_2175_0
yeah, i guess it is from the NGB i haven't seen a model of it Astaroth
yeah, i feel dumb now, right under my nose thanks blaze, though I wish game files had a more convenient naming system more often
Hey Blaze is there a pastebin for the weapon files as well?
i just lost. Where is all main parts such as body/arms/legs? And how to use that list to find models what i need? (aslo what about shields/weapons?)
Parts models are under Game > Model > MS The list confused me at first too, but I figured it out. The parts are in a different range of folders. For example, if you want Gundam Legilis, it's listed as "HG_241" in the pastebin but the last number is left out for some reason. That means its parts start at HG_2411 with its head and ends at HG_2416 with its backpack and tail cannon. So assume all the listings have four numbers (the missing number being "1") instead of the three you see in the list. As for weapons, those I think are in Game > Model > Bparts AND Equip, everything with "Crw" in the name is close-range weapons (swords, axes, that sort of stuff) and "Lrw" is guns and the like. "Shd" are shields. "Dco" seems to just be decorational parts. They seem to be in order of series release date just like the mobile suits are, but there's no way to tell what's what until you open it unfortunately.
Find MS name from that list. For example, Psycho Zaku is HG_046. Find it in umodel and you will get HG_0461, HG_0462, HG_0463, HG_0464, HG_0465, HG_0466. The last number usually means: 1 head 2 body 3 right arm 4 left arm 5 leg 6 back For weapons, you can find them in Equip folder. Crw (melee), Lrw (ranged), Shd (shield). Some skill weapons like Astaroth knife can be found in Skill folder.
i have the some trouble unzipping these files from Google drive i have all of the 4 or 5 when i try unzipping them i have error can someone please help me on this one
How i can get main esk? I mean big esk for whole suit. And what about "transforming" mechas like unicorn? How i can use its models?
anyone know the pass? https://bowlroll.net/file/196153
Don't suppose it's possible that someone finds a way to extract meshes/models for the pilot suits and soldier uniforms in GBO, UCGO and/or Gundam breaker? Seems like people generally just rip the vehicles and forget about the soldiers, which is a shame as it'd be cool to get some gundam mods for games
Trying to import from Blender had failed, anybody could upload the Pyschomu system Zaku I'll appreciate it a lot https://www.siliconera.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/newgundambreakernew7_thumb.jpg
Try using MilkShape  3d tool. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/132754/aa14f814-2d5b-445d-a0e6-ce4eb8c76d49/MilkShape 3D 1.8.5.png
I had a whole collection of every NPC and outfit from UCGO that I ripped with ninjaripper. But the files dissapeared. How would one go about adding the textures to the Gundam Battle models?
is this immediate output from gildor's umodel? without other tools/process?
is ripping from Gundam Battle Operation 2 possible yet? do we even have a file dump for it yet? Dunno if its still in game data, but they had a model of the Narrative Gundam in the base at one point
Were you able to grab the maps as well?
Dunno if anyone is interested or not, but I am modeling the Knight Gundam's swords from its new Robot Damashii figures No eta to completion, will also tackle its flaming full armor sword aswell. Apparently this Robot Damashii take on the Knight Gundam is in the Extreme Vs 2, I hope that gets a console port so I can get that model Thinking about doing the Musha Gundam Mk.I and Mk. II's katanas too at some point https://imgur.com/a/x3DMo7j
I'm hoping you know by now, but please make sure all your faces face outward (white side) properly. I come across way too many models on Sketchup warehouse that have a bunch of inverted faces because Sketchup doesn't do backface culling and it makes me sad. ): Otherwise, looking really good so far!
Thanks, though I'm not quite sure how to do that aside from drawing it in a specific way, I think a handful of my models have inverted faces like that, but its never bothered me anyway, I always paint up the faces when done anyway, I'm not the most well versed in sketchup really. I need to start trying to learn how to model the actual Mobile Suits eventually
https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/2014/2ab792aa-1d15-4fdf-a64a-72a7eb5f912b/image.png Upon right clicking a face. I mostly suggest this because if you put your models out to the public and they wanted to convert it for Gmod/SFM or anything else like that, they'd have random holes in their model from incorrectly inward facing polygons unless they fixed it themselves manually, which is usually a huge pain to do.
Ahh, thanks for the tip. Never knew about that issue for porters. Will try to work that into my usual process now.
Ah damn that sucks, I don't know much about ripping but I imagine you'd need to be in a running server for it to work, and i doubt there's still any running.
Nearly done with the Full Armor Knight Gundam's sword just gotta make the pommel then scale it properly Easier than I anticipated to model actually, more tedious really, still think I could improve some parts, but I'm satisfied with what I made slightly off topic, but does anybody know about those 3d scanning thingies you can use to scan real objects and convert them into 3d models? would those be able to get decent models if I scanned a Gundam kit with it, or would I just be wasting time?
Did someone tried to rip models from ps3 gundam unicorn game? This game have a lot of suits, and ships too
