Is it possible to use the noesis script if i do't care about the bones/weights?

Nvm. I messed that up. Again. The noesis script was actually for the adventures models. For republic heroes you really gotta use the old blender method and the texture script by Acewell. That's it, i think.

@aspiring3dmod unfortunately that Cody mod don't with with the latest patch.. At least I couldn't get it working.. Anyone ever extracted textures from nexus mod installation files before??.. If I can at least get hold of the mod textures, I can recreate the trooper myself

Thank you for this! Noob question though, how do I use the textures labelled _NAM and _MSW? I've converted them from DDS to PNG, and using Photoshop I can see they have different information in each colour channel, but I've no idea what NAM and MSW stand for/what passes they represent. Any help?

C = Color S = Specular / Smoothness M = Metalness R = Reflectance / Roughness N = Normal A = Alpha / Transparency AO = Ambient Occulsion / Shadows E = Illuminance W = Weathering (only usable with an environmental weather control map)

Noesis supports GLM. I've used it to convert to DAE, then import into Blender (haven't had any problems so far).

PK3 isn't a model format it's a zip folder format. You can open it with Winrar. I forget which model format Jedi Knight 3 models are but I do believe Noesis, which I use to convert all models to FBX or OBJ supports it.

That is why I said, they are .pk3 files and you can open them with winrar or just about any unzipper...
