Well, that is still part of plugin that is work in progress. It's a kinda static prop!?! Cause it should use the 2nd uv layer for the ambient occlusion texture. The diffuse is pretty plain. plus Not sure how you can not find the files. I only have the multiple folders extracted and use/used the windows search too. In a single folder the file enumeration lags a bit.
Very strange, I can find it from the extracted diles but it's missing a lot of part to it.
I dunno. It looks pretty complete to me. it just seems to be a static prop, and (ignoring the lacking ao layer) missing the proper color texture or any sort of decals, which you could and may have to paint yourself. https://i.imgur.com/4e5YNmL.jpg In terms of the mesh, maybe you need the 'new' plugin? i know there's an 'old' one out there. I'm not aware of any 3dsmax or others. It's a noesis thing for me. xtrctr_swcwa
hey guys i was wondering if anyone has this speeder from tatooine from battlefront 2017, i remember it being upload but i cant seem to use the old forums, dont have permission or something, and link would be great https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/139534/1df39675-8cea-42ad-83ca-ae0be683574c/Untitled-2 copy.jpg
Huh, strange maybe I am using an old plugin. Do you know what I could use instead?
The tools i linked don't work? That's a Nope then. I may pick them up for dev later, but not today. ^_^
Landspeeder 03
@Silverado117 Here is the 'General' rigged only... Obi suffers from long droopy robe & sleeve syndrome rendering him inefficiently riggable. I aint sufficiently Frosty efficient to extract the entire character rig complete with the cloth skinning.. as of yet... General Obi-Wan Kenobi [RIGGED] {Textures not included}
Extracting the individual meshes with skeletons intact is extremely simple; combining them all to use the same skeleton though, is not. I've still yet to figure out an effective way to do it.
legend, thank you
Definitely requires a magic handshake of some sort...
Hello there! I want to share the news, that our project «STAR WARS: Across the Eras» (vk.com/sw_eras - original russian page) got started with ModDB! Finally we found people who will translate it! Enjoy! www.moddb.com/games/star-wars-across-the-eras https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/132578/faf9d57e-e0cf-42f7-a3b1-832fa118d1dc/image.png
A great addition. Thanks.
@Warhammer_81 Your my files link doesn't work properly. Does it contain Resistance Trooper models by chance?
@wubba Thanks! I hate when that syndrome comes up! lol @Rancor022 well there is one thing that could happen, if you extract the pieces with the rig so they all have the rig (arms, legs, cloak, etc) As long as they all share the same base rig, we could export them to XNALara (XPS) and merge them into one model there, then reimport the model back into 3ds max or blender (I use 3ds max). The Injustice 2 models have the issue with multiple parts from their gear system, and I've used this method to put together a character. Just an idea though.
Inb4 Disney DMCA
I can imagine this proyect closed by Disney one day in the future. Disney does not accept nobody creating a game in the engine from UE4, Unity3D or whatever you want. I remember other similar proyects closed. Disney only will accept this if it is made as a mod from a existing game.
This discussion? It's a fan project right now. It's not mickeys business. Not sure if the genre matters to call it a 'core' game. The general game license and calling it Star Wars is managed by LucasArts. I'm sure it may appear somewhere on a radar for inspection. We'll see the reaction when actual working gameplay is up. And this being free is something Star Wars doesn't actually do. If they get there, they may have to make a dEAl and publish on origin. Gotta make some money. Plus. There's no engine limitation. Fan and hobby projects like that gotta start somewhere. And it's not frostbite, which doesn't have public tools. About modding i can't even think of an rts game to start this. Not my genre. Mhh
- This modder just imported Dice Battlefront's yt-1300 in to Star Wars Galaxies online. I didn't know that game still exist and alive. Here is the video of it below. Also the title is somewhat hysterical that he stole the robe from a grave. rofl Darth Revan is piloting the ship. That's nice. I hope that he showed a lightsaber action. Too bad. I might give him the lightsaber that I have been working on. It will be a nice addition to his Revan character. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YWHqasEwfJY -
That KOTOR remaster was a mod for the original KOTOR with better graphics, and Disney still shut it down. They won't shut down mods for games that originally had mod support though, it seems.
No it wasn't a mod. It was an entirely new game on a different engine (UE4) that used some assets from KOTOR.
One thing is edit one original game made with Unreal Engine 4 by example and one very different thing is to take the Unreal Engine 4 and to create your own Unreal Engine 4 game ambiented in the Star Wars Universe. Just because you use assest from another original Star Wars game, it does not give you the category of mod. It would be a game with ported stuff. It will be shutdown by Disney the first day that they discover it. Sorry but it is fact, it happened before with Disney and it happened before with Lucasarts. It is not nothing new.
Would anyone to be able to get hold off the revered master robes from SWTOR? If possible, thanks! http://dulfy.net/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/swtor-revered-masters-armor-set-2_thumb.jpg
That's kind of my point here: if they shut down a mod for an existing game, then they'd have no issues shutting down a scratch-built game.
Anyone have the BF II models for the Imperial Officer with armour and the Hoth Rebel Officer? (if i'm blind and they've already been posted, could you send us the link) Thanks.
You'll have to forgive me to being new on threads and such. But I do not know if you saw my reply earlier. If you do not mind, could you extract the individual meshes for any of the Obi skins, then send them over? I would like to see if my method that I used for the Injustice 2 models, works with this as well. That is if you don't mind, I know it might be a hassle. Thanks
Hello, is there anyway I can get in contact with you cpt.Rex?
greetings.. yes, you can contact me on deviantart if you want... https://www.deviantart.com/cptrex
Here are the raw mesh files. I didn't include any of the textures or anything, just the raw meshes with rigging intact. Obi-Wan Kenobi (Raw Files)
Thank you kindly. No worries, I have them from your previous upload.
