Not .DDS with Alpha channels ..but Alpha Mask... I have never got one out of anything with Ninja...it is always a blank file.
Nah...not the ones here... all the files I have ever ripped with Ninja that have Alpha-Mask.

BTW... I found the shuttles!!! They were buried deep in the bowels of the interior bay. Not so bad getting them out. But I had to re-do it as I screwed up and decided to join each one and royally screwed up the ability to texture them... after a new start... I just sent them off to another layer and textured on there, I can then later on use the same materials and get them all done... have to copy one of the landing pads as there were only 3, no big deal. Just finished ?? ( maybe) the dock arms, way too many different files to get all of them together as they all are the same with numbers up to 6, but there is 8 arms...so just spent sending one part at a time and tried to assemble it that way... then will delete all the left-over parts and copy and flip to get what is needed... I was working away till I noticed the lower arms and the need to be flipped. All the parts are right side up.

that's it for now... I will say since a lot of things seem to manipulated In-Game... the code for this must be a nightmare! Even a few of these simple things have 6-8 textures as well as multiple UV channels. Figuring all of it is gonna take some time!! Understatement!
Can somebody rip d`qar planet (ninja maybe)? I still can't find that detailed planet texture, tho I found clouds. Lots of clouds.

You'll have to pardon me not knowing certain terms. I use 3ds max, so if it is a blender term, no idea. So basically that jaw issue I had was solved by selecting all of his lower lip bones, then using the link tool, I re-parented the lip bones to the jaw.
I must admit I have never either.. But pardon my ignorance this is the 'silhouette' black & white map we're talking about as I swear Obi-Wan would of required them for his hair and beard, yet I extracted none of them via Frosty either so what's the go with that!?
Exactly... sometimes it is done with just an alpha image of the hair strands, others it is with the mask, I think that most now the alpha channel is clear which displays as white, where the older ones where black and the alpha was the shape of the object. Now that it is all white, perhaps Ninja and Frosty just skip them as empty files?
It was actually a MAYA term, but it could be a Blender term. I'm yet to try rigging in 3DS MAX. I'm still fairly new to rigging so yeah.
Can't help if you're using Blender but I think in Max you need to unpaint the envelope weights to anything upper 'off' the lower jaw bones assigned to the heads skin modifier
It's weight painting around the mouth that always gets me.
I'ts not f!@#ing easy!!!... definitely a learning curve.. bones/skinning in general... I use morphs for facial... my plan is to eventually motion capture my own facial expressions & then link them to my characters morphs, A learning curve in itself but essentially a time saver in the long run...
Face capture with flexes? Does that even work? The regular way (with markers) this is exactly where you gotta use bones to have a 1on1 point relationship. I can't imagine how a software would trigger a flex slider. Even without markers the facial recognition shape and movement is point based.

I guess one of things that made the weight painting so difficult in my case was that it was a custom build and inside of the mouth had a case of overlapping geometry of the upper and lower lips.

Yeah .. there's a couple of programs out there that do it.. some dodgier than others but also depends on what cameras are supported/you intend to use
And they work with flexes, really? Well i dunno. I can't imagine this being any good or precise. Shapes are predefined. You gotta do the expression for it to trigger. Or you model all the combinations for directions of possible 'marker'/trigger positions. I'd rather use bones then.
Plus: You gotta copy paste the full links. This forum obviously doesn't support those '!' in the embeds.
If you mean flexes as in the same as morphs then yes.. you'd be surprised by the results but you'd need to tinker to get it working good.. I don't know the complete in's & outs because I havent purchased the software.. yet.. though I should test a trial??.. i just hate trial limitations...

I'm green as grass. I know a few terms, but that is from researching and asking my friend who is a rigging pro (well in my eyes). If enough peeps want, I can upload the version that works for me for anyone to download.

Damn, I have exactly same texture, but when I opened it in frosty - it looked dull and ugly, so I thought I miss smth. I never opened that texture anywhere outside frosty. H8 myself
