Does anyone have Asajj Ventress's lightsaber lying around anywhere by any chance?.. any game really, just not ridiculous lo-poly...
@wubba I guess you could google real model sites for that one. I'm sure there's a real prop model somewhere. I only got those. If you convert to quads and sharpen the edges, you know subd is your friend. It's still simply just textured detail.

actually that should do fine.. I downloaded a few from yeggi and other 3d print sites but they're all ridiculously too hi-poly! lol... the texturing of this model is of high quality so I'm happy .. Cheers!
I really have to ask why does everything need to be at original scale? i've always wondered that when you've asked me in PMs and on here as well, because if you are doing this for Empire at War you can scale these things to whatever you want in the 3d program and just edit the scale to what you really want the code.
There used to be a "Mos Eisley Architecture" file somewhere.
Simple really,I don't really want to rely on coding to scale the units. Also i've heard in general in any 3d software you SHOULDN'T scale animations
Oh yeah, I've been dealing with scaled animations and holy SHIT has it been causing headaches.
Yeah I find it's somewhat hit & miss.. in my experience re-scaling animations and rigs require an 'no stone unturned' approach where one step/order misplaced, the animation gets messed up... however rescaling static meshes, no problem.. or is that obvious!? lol...
Were there any sounds in particular you were looking for? I'm on a bit of a journey trying to figure out sound extraction, if I can grab names i'll see if I can't grab some of what you want.
Yup Thats me

is it possible to download your model?
Just thought I'd share this here guys, old and probably already been shared before, but incase anyone want them, I have some jka maps all packed up as objs here: JKA-Maps.zip - Google Drive and I'm packing up some outcast maps later today as well
I'll also be sharing more of my collection I've stowed away for years in my discord server here as well: https://discord.gg/8EjBz8A
So enjoy!
Here's a scene I did in unreal with one of them:

Actually... From what i've learned is that if you're scaling in 3ds max you should scale via x-form. Now i don't know if it only applies to if you want to keep the mesh in 3ds or if you need to do it if you're going to export it aswell...
That's the entire reason why i'm asking warhammer for all the meshes in their original format.
Iirc about 1-2 pages back somebody said that the ships don't have lods. Does that include the corvus and fighters?
Please share that. I'm desperately looking for one eeexaaaactly like this. That would be incredibly appreciated
Correct. Still not finished but heck, they are pretty renders :P
That was me, and no. No ships include LOD's. Only characters do.
Can't say I've used the modifier much at all but nevertheless a valuable one.. though I do use 'Reset X form' regularly..
Just checked.. the Corvus has LOD's but something big ass like the Resurgent ISD does only specific parts for eg: thruster engines...
Anyone have Rey's Ach-too Outfit by chance?
I'm working on all of the heroes right now, and will be starting to upload them very soon.
Wh
What with face fixes & all!?... kind generous gentleman sir!...
Yep! Only ones I won't be able to do are Jyn Erso and Krennic (face fixes were never provided), and I'm still waiting on a fix for Dooku.
Awesome! I'll be looking forward to that!
Hey I know this is a late in the game question but could someone tell me why the BF2 assets I view in the Frosty Editor look like a tie dyed shirt?
http://prntscr.com/mkezay
That is an issue that just started about 2 weeks ago. The latest patch for BF2 changed the way some of the texture blueprints behave. GMan is currently working on a fix for it. FYI they do export perfectly fine.
Could someone quickly give me the brief 1-2 on how I can export models from Frosty into something like Blender? I've found props and such that I'd like to use, now I just need to export them.
Similarly, if people could also link me to instructions on how to export models from SWGOH I'd appreciate it. It's better if I learn to do it myself rather than continue to ask here.
Afaik Frosty exports in fbx 7.5 format which Blender (2.79 here) can read without much problems.
I just removed my GoH extract folder (had to make space for more CW episodes). Basicly you gotta open the _data files or potentially could attempt to load the whole _data folder (can't remember if that worked) into Asset Studio and select and extract whatever you need. If the folder import doesn't work you may have to load each file individually to check.
It appears the only form of export my version of frosty has (1.0.4.5) is .bin. Is there a newer version available?
That is the latest version of Frosty. You're not supposed to right click on the file to export it. Double click on the model and at the top of the screen there is a button that says "export".
We are getting down to our last two pages for this thread. Who will be creating the next one? @Corra_Ashu @FleetAdmiral01 @Rancor022
&/or @aspiring3dmod ...
