@April1213 voting is not compulsory in some countries 😆 .. but seriously what's that?, the bones don't move?.. what do you require the model for? porting to a game or just animating??
Model BF2 to c4d to 3dxchange 7.3 that makes problems
I might get chastised for this comment but c4d or the export settings could be the issue.. hard to know without other specifics.. is the BF2 model originating from the game archive format?... How did you obtain the model??

So sorry for bringing this up again, maybe I should've made it more clear with a screenshot. This is what I'm facing.

As you can see, the head is its own mesh, along with a TFA and TLJ (loool that film!) hair meshes. These two confuses me.
The TFA hair mesh seems a bit simpler to deal with, as it's only poly elements to represent hair strands, and I suppose all you have to do is move it into place, right?
But the TLJ mesh is more confusing since it has the scalp of the head as part of the mesh. How do you make it as part of the head mesh? I've aligned the two together but the polycount and wireframes don't match! Did the devs really modelled it that way/badly??
What's wrong with it? Works in blender. Do i guess correct this gonna end in gmod or sfm? Cause i see it's using valve abc bones. Some bones are overlapping badly and weighting is mediocre. I cleaned up a lil bit and rigged the toes. But, i'm tired right now. Maybe i'll finish it tomorrow. Maybe.

I can't seem to access V1 or V2 threads from these links FYI.
The website went through a remodel or something a few months ago, so the first few pages were either removed or have a new URL.
I managed to get into the V2 thread through some googling. I'm happy to pick up force arena models too in fact I got quite a lot from that thread. I noticed @Acewell posted the Rebel pathfinder from Rogue one but unfortunately the Mega link he used no longer works

Wasn't there one ripped? I seem to remember seeing it. It isn't that exact version (the stock is different) but it is the AR-15 based version.

The Rebel rifle and Imperial Pistol sounds come from SWBF, so they'll be in the SWBF pack that I uploaded to Gametoast.
I may already have the other two separated and named, but I haven't finished renaming all the sounds yet.
Does anyone have lower poly versions of the DLT-19D (Death trooper varient) and the SE-14 pistol? I'm attempting to put them into a small rts project I'm making and the battlefront 2 version is quite high poly.

Well just to clarify, I did MOVE the hair and hair/scalp meshes to the side, revealing how it is actually made.
So I'm guessing they are literally three pieces for the head attached together whilst ingame???
Like in your example (very beautifully rendered), it does show seams and cracks of the meshes when together. Also, my hair mesh seems to be rendering wrong, I promise I didn't alter anything. This is a straight FBX into 3ds Max 2011, removed all the bones (cause it was showing up like 400+ massive bones), added a couple lights and rendered with mental ray.

Does anyone here already requested or asked for help to rip an interior of the Millennium Falcon from the game LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens ?
I was able to extract it but some parts are not in the right place.

The floor is missing and the objects are flat which makes the texture look that it is an object like those hoses but they are flat.

Hi I don't know if this helps but I actually managed to rip everything from the PC force awakens game but I don't know how to format them to a viewable format. If there is anything I can give you to help out just let me know because I would love to have one of the most accurate falcon interiors avalible as well.

The head and hair usually consist of a bald head with painted hair, a hair cap and hair faces.
The head itself is as it is, stays like that. The hair cap is mostly as it is but that texture has transparent edges so it blends into the head mesh. So you'll need to apply a transparency mesh or use a partly transparent TGA file as the texture (depends on what the game in question uses and what you extracted/converted from it).
The outer layer is made up of a bunch of flat faces which has a texture applied that is mostly transparent so you get the effect of loose strands that are a bit off set from the head.
Usually the hair cap can be animated a little bit to make the larger hair volume move, while the outer layer of transparent can have more movement attached to it to make it all look real.
So the only issue that you are experiencing is the missing transparency. check your texture folder to see if you have separate transparency maps (usually black and white) or if you should have transparent TGA files that were converted to JPG (so lost their transparency). Then make sure you check your software t make sure transparency is set correctly.
