I sort of finished it (objects are all in the right place but the tree is a little messy), but almost all of the work I'm doing right now is going toward improving the script I've been working on. I've since moved on to other vehicle assembly test cases (like the Fondor drydock above). The other issue I have is that the trench is too damn big for my file hosting account.

Those look very mostly correct with a few nit-picky issues. A few of your seam lines bump out where they should bump in, and in at least one area the colors show as mirrored across a symmetry plane (they shouldn't be). Which method/software are you using? Try these: Hyena_Normals
@BadHorse I did it in blender real quick. A plain emission re-bake. Maybe is should have used some tangent calculation in the mix? It breaks where it uses the same texture space but the tangent is mirrored on the 'head', right. Whatever. Deleted. easy

Looks like you're making great progress. The resurgent was next on my list for test cases. Here's a more recent version of the MaxScript that corrects the orientation issue (see below). I've also had some limited success importing meshes that were previously assembled by other SPB MaxScript executions, with a few caveats. You have to first remove all bones from the assemblies. Hopefully at this point you won't still have need for them. The previous assemblies have to go at the top of the import list. By the way, the example script below can be used to fully assemble a Venator, for those so inclined. @BadHorse sorry for constantly bothering you; if you are able and willing I was wondering if you'd be able to provide re-baked normal maps for these 3 vehicles: NR-N99 Persuader Dwarf Spider Droid Homing Spider Droid I'm trying to redo most of the ships and vehicles that haven't been updated in quite a while, and didn't realize how many fixed normals I was missing. I think that these are the last few that I'm missing, so I don't imagine I'll be making any more requests for the time being. Thanks either way!
I'm changing my answer. Even though the FBX weighs in at a whopping 0.62GB (just over 15M triangles), apparently even binary FBX files compress A LOT, so the RAR is really very manageable. No, like I said, the old model was already geometrically correct. I used the same SpatialPrefabBlueprint data from Frosty, I just typed it in by hand. There's really no need to work on it further because the results would be the same
Hi, this might be a bit of a stretch but does anyone have a cr90 interior model ? I've seen some exteriors floating around but nothing with insides. Like for example the old SWG corellian corvette map, if that's even possible .. Only interested in the insides.
Nope, they are not merged. Open the file, and remove all of the LOD's except for LOD 0, which is the highest poly version. Takes 2 seconds.

I developed the script using Max 2017. I have no reason to believe that it wouldn't also work with Max 2019, but it's never been tested so I can't say for certain.
