I need a little input from you guys. In the screenshot I posted above, there is a little points counter, and you get points by placing down flags. The thing I cant figure out is a fair way to give out points. Right now points are just the y coordinate of the flag, and that doesnt seem to me to be too smart or fair or whatever the word is that I cant think of. Anyways, any ideas, guys?
http://www.mediafire.com/?656ubkukl8ljk15 Here you go  It's been specially compiled just for you. I'm working on two player right now, so that will be the next addition.
That's awesome, I really like the addition of music. It's a nice touch.
How are the entries going? only 12 days left
Got all the puzzles done, just need to build the levels and write a script.
How are all of your games coming along? I am about finished with mine! :D I need to add a couple bug fixes, and one gameplay element, but other than that I am done. I might do some testing with friends tomorrow.
Started on mine 3 days ago. I'm adding items, because every game that isn't an RPG needs items.
I haven't even started. Jobs are poo on my creativity man
Started on mine 3 days ago.
What a coincidence. So did I.
err, you guys realize there is only 4 days left?
err, you guys realize there is only 4 days left?
And then I put on my best Challenge Accepted face and here we are! [editline]27th August 2011[/editline] seriously, don't worry. I've got this.
I'm almost done anyway, so i'll be done in 2 days at most, to think it doesn't really have much procedural generation in it but whatever ill try
Can I turn in concepts I've visualized in my head and haven't actually materialized as a competition entry?
Can I turn in concepts I've visualized in my head and haven't actually materialized as a competition entry?
Its not possible!
7 Day is plenty enough to make a game in!
Can I turn in concepts I've visualized in my head and haven't actually materialized as a competition entry?
No offense, but an ideas guy entry would be hilarious :v: (I get what you mean though: Concepts you know will work if you just had time)
So, entries? Go, Go, Go
If there's only one entry, I won't be giving out a price. It has to be an actual contest before I want to sponsor it.
So, entries? Go, Go, Go
I've still got a day or two. Don't rush perfection. [editline]29th August 2011[/editline] "perfection"
So, entries? Go, Go, Go
My entry is a long way from finished. I'm going to have to work pretty much fulltime now if I want to get it to feel like a polished game. Unfortunately I still have no motivation. For my next game I'm going to follow garry's advice (never make your plans public, only show the end result (or something like that)) [editline]Well done you found a secret! Have some Froid 2 concept art: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4081391/froid2concept.png[/editline]
we should extend the deadline.
we should extend the deadline.
Nah. It's probably best not to change deadlines. We would only be able to add a week, maybe, anyway. School/whatever starts soon for most of us. I'll be ready for the 1st September.
Im tempted to add a player character into the gravitational simulator and do something interesting with it (preferably things that gets you murdered)
I've been busier than I had expected to be with uni starting in less than a week so my entry won't as flashy as planned, but I'll still try to have something to submit at least to increase the entry count.
I've -secretly- been working on something for this. (As in I just found a project file that I thought I lost in my last HDD crash.) If I can get it done in time, then I'll enter. ...but I'm not going to release it until it's done. That might mean that it gets released after the comp ends. Let's find out.

But if you guys have entries then I agree, we shouldn't change it :p Sorry, shoulda been more clear.
Opens up Visual Studio and finally makes his lazy ass do some work
2 days left! My game is done, I'm just waiting for my friend to finish some music for the game :D How does the submission and judging process work? Is it open judging?
Same judging as all the previous contests.
Finished my game, soundtrack and all. :D http://i3software.org/DigIt.php The soundtrack was made by my brothers awesome friend. Is this the "formal" way of submitting this? [editline]N_I_G[/editline] Updated the version on my website. Fixed two bugs.
There's a formal way? Also I'm not submitting my game, its not "procedural" enough I would assume
