Nah, I'm using 1.6, I'll have to find a workaround.

I still spared them 5$ :)

Why do I love 2D GUIs in 3D so much?
Everyone loves them!
(Is that a figure of speech that exists in English?)
No figure of speech existed before it was first used. I think most of us were able to understand what you meant almost immediately anyway.
Making progress in my love/hate relationship with platformers.
IIRC, Maurice had cheat sheet of physics constants or something from when he was still working on that Mario part of Mari0. Anyone have this mystical document?

Can you interact with it in 3D?

I know nothing of you commoners.

How did you do that?
How did you do that?
Probably render to texture, then apply to quad.
You can do the same with winforms but I don't know how to pass the input to it.
I'm losing interest in programming, I don't know, I just started C# and such, but I just keep getting bored.

Do a few short projects.
I don't know if you aren't doing that. But most people who work only on one really long project tend to get bored when there is a gap between flashy differences. So if you work on a short project while working on the long one you can still get that programming satisfaction and keep your desire to work on the big one.
I'm making a webserver.

How do you do that with WinForms? Would like to know for a project of mine.
I load images faster when I dont load byte from byte instead just loading the whole thing into a byte array and then sending it. Interesting.

Can any folks run this: http://www.mediafire.com/?x6njlxjo3cx6cat
And tell me if the output is correct? I'm looking mostly for Unix and Mac people to try it out though, but it'd be nice to know if it's error free on most other windows machines.

Made better buildings, they align with the road and don't intersect with it (most of the times)

Thank goodness, the Memory and Memory Sticks bit was the part I was mostly trying to work out.

This would be really cool for a city-environment game, where no two game-plays are the same. A randomly generated city could spawn quite a few ideas

Atom Zombie Smasher 3D
Do like Midtown Madness 2 but with procedurally generated cities instead of London
