toe hoe
Not quite. Close, but not quite. It's a sort of a combination of "o" and "u", I believe.
So what happened it the Open.gl project? Is it on hold or something Overv?
I'm pretty sure he's still working on it, just getting through it slowly. Can't blame him really, having to do it for each platform [sp]and having to play fallout: new vegas[/sp].
oh cool, I can put this in so I know where a request is coming from:
HttpWebRequest request = (HttpWebRequest)WebRequest.Create(target); request.Timeout = 1500; request.UserAgent = "rotion " + VERSION; HttpWebResponse response = (HttpWebResponse)request.GetResponse();

12.345.678.901 - - [22/Aug/2011:17:01:05 -0500] "GET /changelog.txt HTTP/1.1" 200 1674 "-" "rotion Rotion 1.03a (Desura)"
I just started working on this again, and guess what? It recognizes multiple mirrors now. Next is to make it reflect more than once. :v:

(also, the mirrors can be at any angle, but w/e)
..game maker?
..game maker?
Let's not start the debates about it again.
..game maker?
If he's having fun, it doesnt matter
If I ever need to learn a serious language, I will. Right now, I don't need to, so Game Maker works. ...now back to content.
Even though it's a triangle with 3 60° angles (as far as I can tell), it looks like it's pointing to the bottom right for me.
In the preview it's not at 60 degrees, it's slightly skewed to point to the bottom right because of the way it's filtered, at least on my browser.
The recorder raped the quality, but whatever
No content? I guess ill have to show off v2! [editline]23rd August 2011[/editline] Too bad for automerge :saddowns: [editline]23rd August 2011[/editline] It has a leveling system now not shown here.
I should have entered the Ludum Dare, I started my blocks game after it started and completed it within the 48 hours. Just didn't think to seeing as it was going to be my first game in XNA and all. Next time with a little more knowledge maybe.
My PC's power supply just died (damn you, bitcoin mining!)... I guess it's time to stop playing Minecraft and actually do something productive... Although it's going to be one hell of a switch from dual monitors to a netbook. v:v:v

One actually took everything else with it. Loud arcing noises, magic smoke, the works. Every electrolytic cap on the motherboard was all bulgy and scorched. Well I don't mean I've had three power supplies go (I don't own that many computers!), but family and people I know who I fix computers for.

Well I don't mean I've had three power supplies go (I don't own that many computers!), but family and people I know who I fix computers for.
I think you'll find that it's not the internals of the computers being a problem, but rather the external power. If you have bad electricity in your area or bad wiring in your home, you may have spikes and brown-outs. Get an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS). It will filter dirty power, as well as give you a few hours of working time if the power goes out.
My physics engine is done for now, It uses the Separate axis theorem for collisions and then impulse based collision response, it is surprisingly stable for what it is (had to use a rather hacky method to get the collision point). It's current limitations are that it doesn't handle edge to edge collision very well and it doesn't solve stacking very effectively (Things tend to jitter a lot when stacked), I think if I keep iterating over all the collisions until there is no more penetration it might fix it but for my game which is going to be a top down tank battle, there isn't going to be any stacking.
