There we go. I rewrote it for the third time. Now... how to get that into a database....

Tic tac toe online is pretty much finished :v:
Features:
-Lobby system. Connect to the server and if there are no players waiting, you are added to a lobby. When another player connects, they are added to your lobby and you start playing.
-Online. Precisely.

That's pretty neat, although I worry if you post the stats at the end of each thread people will start posting dumb stuff on purpose to get the high scores...

Since I've been liking making networking stuff and custom servers/clients and stuff, I shall do that with this! Assuming you don't mind.
Not at all.
Also, redownload it, please. Forgot a bug and I fixed it.
Are you being autodumb'd by anthonywolfe? It's been bothering me to know, because I think he's the guy that complained about something you did and wanted his revenge

Complained about...what? And I imagine so, yes.

I don't remember, but I think it was something to do with programming.

I'm thinking about revising my multiplayer RPS to allow rooms
I just played a game with someone.
I had an X in the top middle and an X in the bottom right.
I had a way to win no matter what. They left. Pussy.

I didn't leave. Wait. What makes you think it was me? No no it wasn't. I didn't leave btw. But it wasn't me.

Also I error'd apparently, I'm just trying to analyze your protocol
I tried to play a game but the other player left without moving.
All my games end in ties. :v:
It would appear I fucked up the function that determines if a player won :v:

Or if the game's over, if it's a stalemate nothing happens.
Why don't you have the first player act as the client, and your server just acts as a master browser of available games for people to join.
Why don't you have the first player act as the client, and your server just acts as a master browser of available games for people to join.
What do you mean, the client still communicating to master or the client a new server to talk to master?
What do you mean, the client still communicating to master or the client a new server to talk to master?
Server just sends the client a list of games and IPs/Ports
Client then choses one to connect to
Server can act as a pass through MITM for clients behind routers or proxies
Elaborate on this MITM idea.
Elaborate on this MITM idea.
Probably just being on a port like port 80 to allow communication in case a port is blocked

OpenGL is very fun, but i only know how to draw triangles n stuff, none of that silly advanced stuff engines use that is (completely) useless.
TL;DR:
Finish up open.gl overv
This used to be an experiment on how to effectively solve collisions between AABB's... but then it turned into a particle system with motion blurred rects :v:

Also it is funny because I just went to your site and I couldn't connect, I gave up, looked at the ticker and you announced something about it

You're aware you could sell this right?
You're aware you could sell this right?
pretty sure you can't due to the map & icons
[editline]7th July 2011[/editline]
anyone here ever written background music for their game? or any game at all?
You're aware you could sell this right?
Even if someone would pay for it/I could sell it, I'm not doing this to make money. I had some TF2 competitive match casters asking if they could use it and maybe if I'm happy with it I'll let people use it. Don't want to give it out until I'm 100% happy with it but I wouldn't want to charge.

I reckon tournaments would probably pay for this. But, you seem like you want it as more of a learning experience. It's really interesting and I'm actually in awe by this.
That makes me want to run the radar on my iPhone and have it plopped up beside my screen. You should be able to do that with the HUD for TF2, that'd be cool :(

Will you do the same for your kill heatmap ?
I'd like to implement something similiar on my mod, but I have no experience in drawing the image itself.
