I would play this so much.

Well, I fucked up. My java install is screwed and it vomits up errors when I try to uninstall or reinstall it in any way. Eclipse won't run and I can't compile or use any of my programs.

Added a theme loader for my web browser, BitlBrowser
Here's a 7 minute demo of all features put in it so far:

Planned features: Updater, preloaded themes, The themes to be click-loadable, and other stuff I can't seem to remember.
You can follow my development blog here: http://bitlbrowser.weebly.com/bitlbrowser-blog.html
EDIT:
What's with the boxes?
If anyone has a minute spare, could they check what FPS they get on http://jimbomcb.net/spec/13-perftest/ when the background isn't redrawing? (when the camera has stopped moving)
Also, telling me what resolution you have the browser running it at would be pretty handy...
Not really related to my current programming project, but I had a go at some Cave Story related art.. I'm not really an artist, so this took me a fucking long time and there's probably a lot of problems.

I fucking love Cave Story. Parts of the background were taken from this picture from the official artwork. I want to draw Curly Brace next to him, as they run away from missiles in the background.

So..you put a WebBrowser control onto a form and then added a bunch of useless stuff to it? (That's what's with the boxes)
really? damn that sucks... I was getting ~40fps not fullscreen on 1920x1200 and 60 on 1280x1024. would be nice if it had hardware acceleration on by default in chrome to make up for my bad coding.

Im getting ~60-80 fps 1920x1080 on firefox.

most people in firefox will be getting around that, as it has hardware acceleration on by default, chrome does not.
How are Apps useless? There in Chrome and Firefox.
What?
A notepad that doesn't save?
A calculator with a horrible UI?
A message box generator for god knows what reason?
A seemingly useless download manager?
That's all I can remember off the top of my head but chrome and firefox don't have this stuff.
With reason.

20fps, Google Chrome (1024 x 600 - Samsung NC10)
Well, I'd have to dive into pure d3d9 to do this better, but here's a quickie in GraphEdit!
hmmm... Actually, It would look better without borders.
You can actually get an perfect sierpinsky triangle if you do that.
Or just put 3 webcam areas in 1 window.
But good work anyways.

I'd be much more impressed if you'd written the rendering engine
[editline]10th July 2011[/editline]
rather then just an IE shell

50 FPS in a full 1920x1080 Chrome window. It dips down to 20 FPS sometimes though.
EDIT: Honestly, I think you could limit it to 20 FPS. More isn't really needed and it just takes up tons of performance running at max FPS.

What? I don't get what you mean by it taking up "tons of performance" running at max fps. The only thing that happens is it runs smoother.
I'm pretty concerned by the huge differences in FPS... I want to add a lot more stuff to it but can't find many more places to make it run any faster. There's a few things I know I should do but I don't want to carry on adding stuff if it's going to make the FPS unbearably low.
