So I 'think' I've finished my BlackAndWhite template, any suggestions? http://rewindstudios.com/portfolio/BlackAndWhite
Looks awesome! Good job.
Thanks. That makes me happy.
Looks great apart from the animated dropdown menu.
What don't you like about it? They're really hard to style. :saddowns:
I love it, drop down looks fine to be. The gradient in the footer is still slightly too strong, IMO.
Working on a replicate to Slavehack. In my opinion, Slavehack itselfs is very buggy and lacks a lot of functions. I haven't got to do much visual, just a lot of core and user functions.

Got a style system working for PBA (Have had it finished for a really long time, was just too lazy to show it off.) Default style: [img_thumb]http://bellminator.com/images/pba/nostyle.jpg[/img_thumb] Secondary style: [img_thumb]http://bellminator.com/images/pba/style1.jpg[/img_thumb] Nothing but color changes atm but I might add layout changes later.
Just finished the help file: http://rewindstudios.com/portfolio/BlackAndWhite/docs/help.html I don't think I've ever wrote so much in a day.

http://www.echo-photoshop.com/index.html What do you guys recommend? I was thinking of maybe adding a blog-style system to the Home page, but I'm out of ideas until then.
Rework the navigation and welcome text, they look bad compared to the rest, which is nice :)
Yeah, I don't really like the navbar either to be honest, but I'm trying to focus on functionality right now I think the coolest thing I have is the e-mail submit on the Services page, but that's a simple PHP script. Also the header image changes every hour. How easy would a blog system work? Would I need to set up a MySQL database? I've never use MySQL before :ohdear:

Look them up on google, it's just annoying when you hover over a button and have to see a new image loading...
Well I guess it's time to rework the navbar then :v:
That's the browse page start, it'll cover the home page, all game and category pages. Each time you submit the form it rebuilds your url to a nice friendly url.
The header image looks really strange when it's sticking out like that.
The header image looks really strange when it's sticking out like that.
It looks way to boring inline with the content.
At least add some whitespace between it and the sidebar or something then because it just looks wrong right now.
Been doing a bit of work. The updates thing is just an iframe for now because it's late and I don't want to do any more PHP after handling that goddamn login system. http://www.echo-photoshop.com/index.html What do you think? Also reworked the navbar to use CSS sprites as was recommended earlier.

Maybe you should change the text spacing in the Mod Outlet logo because the outlet part looks really hard to read and also you should make the page header 'Team Fortress 2' a lot bigger, maybe the size of the game logo.
[mind fuck image] :v:
Effective anti ads but that will just scare people away.
Effective anti ads but that will just scare people away.
No, it'll scare people with ad-block away. People with ad-block are technically not worth anything anyway as they have 0% chance of generating anything for him. As soon as they turn it off, it works perfectly normal.
why not just make the uploading functions inaccessible to users with adblock enabled and still keep the red message on top?
why not just make the uploading functions inaccessible to users with adblock enabled and still keep the red message on top?
Detecting adblockers is a client-side thing. [editline]08:41PM[/editline]
Effective anti ads but that will just scare people away.
As Zayfox already said, I have absolutely zero interest in providing my service to people who are just interesting in freeloading. I don't mind if someone chooses not to buy premium, that's their choice, but blocking ads and still using the service is just selfish and arrogant.
I was just saying because there are many other services.
As far as I'm concerned, ad blockers can go waste someone else's bandwidth. Not mine.
