Get a VPS! haha, brohoster for FP shared hosting!
Also, I'm not made of money, but when a domain is only $10 and I've got free hosting, why not!
man up and learn how to do shit properly and get a VPS.
It isnt even that hard too, If you dont know how to do something somebody can help you and then you will get the hang of it. I would still be completely stuck with a half working vps if it weren't for vladh and google.
Domains are $10.
Yeah, but he has like 20 of them. I guess it's not much when you're actually making money though..
Yeah, but he has like 20 of them. I guess it's not much when you're actually making money though..
Hell, i have like 8 and i DONT make money!

I was referencing the fact that Turby has a tendency to leap at opportunities to sing the praises of ASP.NET
Yeah, but he has like 20 of them. I guess it's not much when you're actually making money though..
I think I have about 60 domains, although I don't pay for all of them. Lots are going to drop this year, but I like experiments, I'm happy to pay $10 to play :)
Also a2h, get a VPS with cPanel, although that's not what you'd call cheap, exactly :S
Er..I guess having more then 3 domains doesn't appeal to me money wise when I have no use for that much, considering everything I take on dies because I either: can't make it or think of something also and start on that and eventually just leave the old project behind..x.x
So.. many.. domains.. :gonk:
Wow guys, calm down, what's up with the sudden activity in this forum?!

There are also many free easy to use alternatives such as vhcs and webmin

Just people sparking conversations, I find it quiet enjoyable actually.
Webmin is really nice for stuff like occasional network monitoring and setting up backups and DNS stuff and generally as a fallback solution, if you're not sure about something or ssh stops working - I find it useful :D

One more vote for webmin too.
webmin is the shit. It's written in Perl too :3:
I guess I can give a vote for webmin too, though BIND refuses to work correctly for me. Maybe anyone wants to help me setting that piece of shit up?
I don't get people like you - you can code and design properly but you can't linux at all
I can't linux!
I use webmin at the moment too, just makes those smaller things so much easier.
I'm glad I moved to a vps not that long ago, just something about it, which makes me feel better while running it. :downs:
I can't linux!
Me neither. Such a shame.
Regardless, you know what I meant and that I just couldn't be bothered to type it out, knowing that you would, in fact, know what I mean anyway.

Don't know if I should change anything.

BIND was being a bitch for me to but I found a guide on Google. This tool will be extremely useful in checking if everything is setup correctly.
http://www.intodns.com/
I was googling for a good BIND guide for a long time and found quite a few of them, but neither of the guides wanted to work properly..(?) Maybe you can link to the guide that you used?
Offtopic: Somebody actually noticed my post. Amazing.
