Ignore the shitty template, it's just a placeholder for when I make one. http://browsesafely.webs.com/ I am gonna buy www.browsesafely.net, what are some other good tips and what else should I add?
Are you kidding me? Also, you have terrible grammar.
Are you kidding me? Also, you have terrible grammar.
.tk is a well known domain that phishers use, and what about the grammar? Be nice and tell me what's wrong with it or shut the fuck up.
Does anyone know why this bug happens on IE6? It was working last time I checked it.. [snip]

Need some suggestions and comments. The gray box is where I would put pictures of sites I have worked on. Below the contacts line I would put a simple contact form.
lol, where'd all the pictures come from.
lol, where'd all the pictures come from.
You've started a fad. :v:

[editline]03:22PM[/editline]
Why don't you finish the mock before showing us, instead of saying "I'm adding this here, ok?".
The only thing I'm gonna add is a contact form, but ok. :v: I didn't know everything we posted had to be a 100% finished.
Okay, I fixed my problem by removing an unneeded DIV but thanks for all the help anyway. :v:
Alright, as you requested. Rough mock up. Spent a total of 30 minutes on it probably. Haven't done this in months, hope it's ok. I just feel that it is too bland. http://www.cubeupload.com/files/f64800portfolio.png

http://www.cubeupload.com/files/f64800portfolio.png
I think the font is a little too big and those arrows don't really work with the rest of the design, you could probably have them on the image or remove them and have it scroll when the mouse is over either edge of the image. You could probably add a background colour for the content area.

Also, what kind of background color would you recommend? A lighter gray?
Yeah and maybe you can mess with gradients too. [editline]09:55PM[/editline] Oh and those inputs are a little small in height.
Way ahead of you on the gradients! :) I might make the gradient a bit more intense, like as far as color difference. I like the gradient as it is now. [editline]10:11PM[/editline] I liked the first on more but that's my opinion.
Sweet. I think I have the general idea down. I will start on the html and css tomorrow. :D There are still some things to fix. Like I just noticed the message box could be formatted better aswell. It's taking up an odd amount of space width wise.
You could probably have like "Designer/Developer" on the right at the top, what ever your thing is.
You could probably have like "Designer/Developer" on the right at the top, what ever your thing is.
Yeah, I was wondering what I could put there. Thanks for the ideas man. You really helped me pull this together in a matter of minutes! :)
So kicked work off on a new personal project, think I am quite liking the design at the minute. Ignore the top bar, its not part of the design, just an attempt at trying to keep my work more organized. What do you guys think?
Coded this. [editline]06:51PM[/editline] Frankly what I'm doing isn't Web Development, but I'm nervous to go into the big bad programming forum with PHP code.
Actually, stuff my flash games idea. I was listening to some of the music shared on my network, and I thought: Would it be possible to make a website that will let me view these files or listen to the music, on my network only, through a webpage? I can host the server and stuff, but is there a way to do it?
Check this out http://www.ampjuke.org/ use it all the time.
Could someone recommend to me what I should add the front front page and basic tips and tools? http://browsesafely.webs.com/
Chrome. Basic tip: use common internet-sense, teach them about the basics
I chose firefox as the main browser because of NoScript and I have a thing for common sense.
I chose firefox as the main browser because of NoScript and I have a thing for common sense.
You don't start a sentence one way and go into the entirely different direction afterwards.
Could someone recommend to me what I should add the front front page and basic tips and tools? http://browsesafely.webs.com/
I think you should get a design done before you start filling it with content.
I chose firefox as the main browser because of NoScript and I have a thing for common sense.
Except some 40% of all sites rely on JavaScript, and you block it. When in fact, if you use something secure (like Chrome), you won't have any issues with malicious JavaScript.
I think you should get a design done before you start filling it with content.
I can't do shit in dreamweaver :frown:
