If you're writing the code, try using:

-moz-box-shadow, box-shadow, -webkit-box-shadow
-moz-border-radius,-webkit-border-radius

Simpler: Edit the images yourself in photoshop/etc

Also I think [url]http://www.xenonservers.com/[/url] looks pretty good, the fact they have hosting in the UK is a big plus as far as I am concerned.

Still not going to switch away from dreamhost just yet as far as my shared hosting is concerned but defo bookmarking for future use.
