Just made a little stylish thing to condense facepunch posts to fit more on my widescreen monitor.
@namespace url(http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml); @-moz-document domain("www.facepunch.com") { .userinfo { padding: 5px !important; margin-bottom: 0px !important; } .userinfo center { padding-top: 8px !important; } .userinfo img { margin-bottom: -10px !important; } .userinfo .links { margin-top: -5px !important; margin-bottom: -2px !important; } .userinfo .links img { margin-bottom: 0px !important; } .messagetext{ margin-left: 10px !important; } .footer { margin-top: 5px !important; }
[editline]12:49AM[/editline] I can fit one extra post on my screen with it.

Not only did you ruin the UX design of vbulletin with your super silly padding, but by doing so your thing not only fails vbulletin but it fails itself. It's kind of a recursive failure. You made it so that you could read more posts on one page, resulting in a nicer experience (???). But you fucking forgot that vbulletin was designed like it is for a reason. Want more posts per page? User panel motherfucker. You just fucked up the design so you had one more post per page. Your failure is just impressive. tl;dr: what the fuck?!

Why do you people even care what jaybuz using? It's his choice to use whatever he wants, as long as it's comfortable for him, you shouldn't really care.

I've been working on a small 2D MMO in Java, and lately I've gotten really bogged down working on the editor for putting data into the Database. Doing the interface and all the SQL sucked, but I recently learned enough Django from doing my own website/blog that I redid that crap in Django and it can be edited from the Django Admin module. It's really nice since Django takes care of the input interface, and the SQL. All I need to worry about now is getting data from the Database in my MMO server which shouldn't be too horrible. tl;dr Django's Admin module kicks serious ass.
hey guys use this, you scroll down a lot less
.spacer div, .spacer td{margin:0 !important;padding:0 !important;}

This one is actually pretty nice. Thanks.
This sub-forum is really starting to fill up angry little bitches lately.
Isn't it funny that it's really only one angry little bitch?
Isn't it funny that it's really only one angry little bitch?
Yeah, Vlad :v:
Yeah, me :saddowns:
Fixed. [editline]10:29PM[/editline] Although I'm not sure why you're getting this shit after that BlackAndWhite design.
Fixed. [editline]10:29PM[/editline] Although I'm not sure why you're getting this shit after that BlackAndWhite design.
Me neither, it's not like I implied that CSS code was amazing or anything, I just felt like sharing it and got raped. [editline]01:43PM[/editline] And rape hurts
Yeah, Vlad :v:
fighting vladh - a strange game the only winning move is not to play
fighting vladh - a strange game the only winning move is not to play
Or hire him as your lead tech. :v:
fighting vladh - a strange game the only winning move is not to play
How about a nice game of trolling?
Damn, you people realy cant criticise something in a sensible way.
Anyone knows of a way how to give a subforum of facepunch a custom style? I thought of setting a cookie when a user visits a subforum, which doesn't expires, until he goes back to the main forum view. Now it's just the problem I don't quite know how to do it with javascript, and would like to know if it's worth a try before I try it.
Should of expected this from FP. Was looking through pictures uploaded on my test site and had a lovely c99 script on there, by the looks of it, it didn't work.
Should of expected this from FP. Was looking through pictures uploaded on my test site and had a lovely c99 script on there, by the looks of it, it didn't work.
it's FP's way to learn you to make stuff secure.
Blargh, Facebook connect is overly-restrictive and all the tutorials seem to be very much out of date or way to complicated. All I want to do is facebook connect >> create user, simples. OpenID first :P OpenID is more useful now that steam has an API anyway.
Yes, it's called "making stuff secure".
They uploaded it as .apng and it didn't seem to work.
They uploaded it as .apng and it didn't seem to work.
That's why you don't just check the file extension, but also the MIME type. :downs:
