I guess this is sorta like hijacking, but I don't want to make another thread for a similar question. I'm a sophomore taking AP computer science(Java) this year. My highest math experience is Algebra 1, and I am currently taking Geometry. Is this math level suffice to start making something in 3D in Java? Let's say, for instance, that I am making a 3D game that plays like Mario 64. Where is a good starting position for this? School started last week for me, so in Java we're only talking about printing statements, but I know a little bit about objects. I'm guessing I would need to make something similar to a game engine, that simulates gravity in order to get this to work?

I don't know anything about java, but there's usually some kind of helpers that do the nitty gritty math for you, it shouldn't be too hard.
