I liked your old font better.

The HDD was powered down while I was doing it.
Also some more demo's
(They are alot better IMO)

This is proabbly the last i'm going to do with this.
Make it rotate the view based off accelerometer
I started this morning with the intention to program an interpreter for a simple scripting language in C.
So far in the 12 hours I've managed to play some Skyrim and write a general-purpose red-black tree for associative arrays or whatever
You know that hard drives also have accelerometers? When the acceleration exceeds a certain threshold, the reader-arm retracts in order to protect the disc.
I didn't, thanks for telling me.

I'm talking about the roll, so if you turn the laptop upside down the gmod view would flip upside down allowing you to still see things normally
I can't decide.

At first I was under the impression you could not decide which icon to put onto your game's black ball..
Does anyone know how to get this Love debug console working with 0.8.0?
To use it, you're supposed to require it from before your love.load in the main.lua file.

I remember it being really useful, especially because it works with just about any game. (as long as they don't change love.run)

It also affects people who have to pay as they download. There's no (easy) way to load a page but not the gifs in it.

That reminds me of a game I played a while ago, but I can't remember the name. I think it involved fish though..

Where would the fun of this thread be if all we did was type out what we were doing?
Yeah there's youtube, but that's a lot more work than most people would want to put into little things.
You know that hard drives also have accelerometers? When the acceleration exceeds a certain threshold, the reader-arm retracts in order to protect the disc.
That's not part of the hard drive; the accelerometer is a separate device in the computer. And there's a driver in the OS that reads from the accelerometer and tells the drive to unload its heads.
Right.

Things looking good. Full list of things done so far; Levels that can load/save, entities (the player is the "default" cube), particles, magic, projectiles, item descriptions/names/levels/rarities (rarities not shown here, levels are also represented by the colour of the item), full collision detection (with bounding boxes), swapping items (looks if there's a clear space around you to dump your current item before picking up a new one), inventory, health and movement with some velocity.
Pretty good since I had to RECODE THE ENTIRE GOD-DAMN THING AFTER SEEING HOW SHITTILY I PROGRAMMED IT.

This is the way my laptop does it (Hence I can get the data from it)
But most modern hard drives (4-3 years old will have it built in anyway)
Mac books have a thing like that too.

HDDs also have an additional accelerometer which can only be accessed by the hard drive itself.

Large GIFs can lag some browsers (especially on mobile devices) and for people with slow connections it's extremely annoying to load a page with large GIFs. GIFs are useful for short, small animations but for larger, window or screen-sized animations it's best to go with video.
Also, judging by the frequency with which people ask "How do I shot GIF?" in this thread I'd say it's equally as easy if not easier to upload to youtube.

I used to have this issue when using Safari on my iPhone.
Just found the solution to be using opera mini because it wont download gif's.

It's way easier. Just fire up fraps, hit a button to start and stop, then drag the file into the designated area on the upload page. Wait, add title and description, and you're done!
You need to open a video file into VirtualDub anyway to make a .gif, so it's not actually that much different to upload to youtube.
Anyway we have had this discussion over and over again. Do what you want, just be considerate of others.
Okay this is officially confusing the shit out of me and is destined to fail.
g.fillArc(Math.round((pWidth-(i*lRadius-(lRadius-cRadius*crmod)/2.0))/2.0),
Math.round((pWidth-(i*lRadius-(lRadius-cRadius*crmod)/2.0))/2.0),
Math.round(i*lRadius-(lRadius-cRadius*crmod)/2.0),
Math.round(i*lRadius-(lRadius-cRadius*crmod)/2.0),
Math.round(360.0*(j/ringCount[i]+rGap/2.0)),
Math.round(360.0*((j+1)/ringCount[i]-rGap/2.0)));
Fire up fraps, End up with a 200mb AVI file, drag the AVI file into an encoder, select and fiddle with the encoding settings to ensure the colors are correct and the size is close to what we want it, upload to youtube, wait for the upload to be processed on their end, ensure it's uploaded to the right account, goto the video, open the stupid embedding menu, find the right link, copy paste the link into the forum... yeah... way easier...
