Aside from the bandwidth concerns, even on an unlimited data plan, fast internet, up-to-date browser. I still play roughly 1 in 20 of the youtube videos posted here, so why on earth would I want *all* videos to auto play?
It's the classic programmer thing "They want feature X, that's not practical so I'll implement feature Y"

Both. I'm currently fitting it to Android specifications, but it takes about 2 minutes of moving stuff around a few resizes to fit it to each iOS specs.
It's using Adobe's Flex SDK, which I have nothing but good things to say about, it really helps streamline development on multiple platforms, moreso than any other mobile crossplatform SDK that I've used. It also lets me develop and deploy to the iOs devices from a windows machine, which is probably one of my favorite things about it.

Fiddled with the light system to make it waaaayyy better, and it's now based on individual light sources stored in entities/projectiles, which in turn is updated inside the level and sent to the lighting engine. The annoying thing with the lights not blending correctly is still there, but it's something to do with the lightmask that I made so I can probably fix it. Though it's not shown here, there is also a "Time of day" light modifier, which flips from day to night, and so makes the level brighter or darker.
Now I think I can start putting in more things to do with gameplay, but first I want to shore up the map system. Right now I'm using text files to store it, and I'm considering moving it to XML (along with savegames, which I just remembered I need to put in as well :v:)
