but I've seen a few other people "accept" comments and critique, then they make one small change which doesn't even encompass the full impact of someone's feedback.

Rate me clocks and the new hidden off-topic ratings, but the theme patcher doesnt work for me. Could this be because Im using Windows 8? All buttons are just disabled.
Yes. It is. The files are different in Win8. I /think/ there's already a patcher for it tho. But you can't use themes made for 7 on 8 either.
You guys have some terrible art and design sense. I honestly don't know if it's even worth replying to people here considering the way some of you take criticism, too. Perhaps it may just be null to some extreme extents, but I've seen a few other people "accept" comments and critique, then they make one small change which doesn't even encompass the full impact of someone's feedback.
null^2 asking for serious constructive criticism.mov
Shit
This is how it was for every version since XP. Why didn't you know this?
steam account was hijacked too, sent steam support a ticket ... still waiting on a response from inneractive regarding the ads what a terrible day
Maybe there is a keylogger on your system
what a terrible day
What're you talking about? It's fucking great! Whenever bad things happen to you I get the same feeling as when I use brand new socks.
Maybe there is a keylogger on your system
i don't think so ... the hijacker was too stupid to hijack my other important email which even had the same password i think he/she/it got in by guessing the "security question" ... now all my accounts have different randomly generated passwords and the security question answers are also randomly generated strings
Maybe there is a keylogger on your system
I think it's more likely that all these online companies and sites we give our information to don't have any idea how to keep it safe. All of my friends (and myself) have had our battle.net accounts 'hacked' at one point or another. I think it's more likely that Blizz (or Valve, Facebook, Facepunch, whoever) has some security problems than we all have keyloggers or there's that many brilliant Chinese hackers who make their living on WoW gold. It's not like we're a bunch of illiterates. It's a very real problem, and there are simply too many people who have their accounts hijacked to think that they're targeting individuals. I mean, if you were a hacker, would you waste your entire week breaking into one guys system, or would you rather try and dump an entire SQL database for just a little more effort?
I made a simple c# program that picked a random IP and connected to it by HTTP. Then threaded it. (300 threads running) 30 mins in I found this. If you have not figured it out its a solar plant in Israel There was not even a password or anything on it. This stuff really boggles my mind.
I have always wanted to do something like this but distributed. So several people run the program and a server tells them to port scan random ips. Only issue is finding an incentive for people to run the program. I was thinking of making it also test for proxies and giving the proxy list to everyone who uses it.

Hashed passwords could have been taken. I think I don't have to worry since my password is pretty long. It would take some time to get it from a hash but fuck! I use the same password (or a variation) everywhere!
Working on a map for Airedale Also, I think lots of Yahoo emails got hacked

In fact, it can be used directly so it even saves you a step.
What're you talking about? It's fucking great!
What're you talking about? It's fucking great! Whenever bad things happen to you I get the same feeling as when I use brand new socks.
not cool

From what I have seen, most hackers just test a lot of systems for a specific exploit until they find a vulnerable one. They rarely target a specific one. I know when I was doing some security work it was that way at least. I mean you would be surprised the amount of information you can steal off a machine silently. Firefox/chrome/opera/IE passwords (if you don't set a master password), steam account (if remember me is checked), etc. Most anything that has 'Remember me' can be stolen. You can either use the session or the hashed password to gain access to the account to change information.
I mean, if you were a hacker, would you waste your entire week breaking into one guys system, or would you rather try and dump an entire SQL database for just a little more effort?
No one would ever do that. Why do you think that was the case?
Not to mention the totally unwarranted jab at Jookia's project.
Some people in here need to grow up a bit and stop with the bullying. It's not cool, all it does is make you look like a douchebag, not to mention it completely shits up the the thread.
GUI improvements the green button is when you press something ... it looks a little fucked up because i took a screenshot from the simulator and edited out the debug mouse point
Not to mention the totally unwarranted jab at Jookia's project.
After Jookia just said that seeing bad things happen to null makes his day, I'd say it's warranted.
steam account was hijacked too, sent steam support a ticket ... still waiting on a response from inneractive regarding the ads what a terrible day
This happened to one of my friends once. Go download LastPass. It's an awesome password manager that integrates with Chrome and Firefox. Then make your passwords 20 characters of randomly generated alphanumeric text with special characters thrown in. Nobody is going to be guessing that ever. And if you don't have access to your main computer, you can sign in to LastPass on the web and access all your passwords. And the premium version lets you access your passwords in a convenient app on your phone (Android or iOS)! That's my suggestion. Hope you get this all sorted out!

Haha. I was just thinking about this comic.
Wow, my content got overlooked because of drama I made the top bit icy, because the north of anywhere is frosty

That might be true if you were just bruteforcing the password, but that kind of passwords are also really weak against dictionary attacks.
