There's only so much you can do with forum design. I like ours, each to his own :)
I'm still trying to get this damn Mac OS X build to go. Even if I DO get it to somehow magically work, I need to do it two more times for powerpc, and x86_64 ;_;
Where can I learn XSLT?

W3Schools has a good place to start.
Finished a simple website for my school. I'll trust you guys to not stalk the people on it.

It's for our robotics team, the site is nothing special but eh, it works. Some images (like the logo) are still missing yet because my team is a bunch of lazy fuckers.
Just got back from school, going to begin more work on the forum. Got a deletion thread moderation box thingy...

Now to work on the player.

Please, use this for all us.
On another note, FUCK YEAH I GOT IT TO COMPILE! WOOOOOO!
I can now build one application on ONE machine. :c00lbert:
I'll be zipping up the binaries properly with proper instructions for installation. Anyone on a linux machine that is capable of running 32 bit binaries will be able to use this :D
You'll need to download the Apple SDK (which is available for free from developer.apple.com), and 7zip (for getting the apple SDK files out)
but now I need to go finish my build script, because I waited to see whether I could get them all to work or not. :D

You might want to remove the obviously incorrect copyright info at the bottom.
Looks a bit plain, but the main part is that it's working.

Obviously. The copyright crap is false. Might change it or add something saying it's not correct so I don't get in trouble.

It looks alright. I agree that the font size is slightly larger than it should be (whoever said that), and I'd also consider changing the font face to something else. Then again, I'm aesthetically retarded so my suggestions probably aren't worth much.
I assume you'll probably be adding more columns to the thread listing, but I figure I might as well mention it anyway. I think a "Posts" column would be the next most useful, then a last poster & last posted date. That'd probably be all you need for that, though I'd suggest making the division between the poster info and their actual posts a bit more defined. On the flip side, it's the same division that facepunch uses, so maybe it's just missing something on your site :P
I find your revised copyright text humorous.

I doubt you'd get in trouble, just Copyleft it to yourself ;)

I think the font changes half way through the stylesheet..I might need to rewrite it to make sure, it's a mess. I will add the rest of the columns after. Got trial exams coming up, got work too..god damn it..
Tahoma is the best font. This is an agreeable claim.
Extend it all the way to the right :v:
No, looks shit :V
The page not being properly centred makes it look very odd indeed.
You should either center it or extend it all the way.
Extend it all the way to the right :v:
Use ajax for that "don't show again" link on FAQ & Help. Once you get the basic ajax for that you can pretty much use it anywhere so it'd be a good investment.
As others have said, it looks lop-sided having a black bar on the right hand side for no apparent reason. More specifically, it looks lop-sided having black bars on all the sides except the left hand side.
Also some of the images in that background bar don't seem to fit the theme properly. But apart from that, it looks alright.
Fine, I'll test extending it and centering it :P
Also, SMF uses ajax for some stuff, although their ajax is shit. It doesn't make much of a difference being redirected.

There, it's like a floating box in the middle, boring and standard, happy?
There, it's like a floating box in the middle, boring and standard, happy?
Exceptionally.
That looks better in my opinion. Then again, you could also have removed the border on the right or added one on the left, you didn't necessarily need to add a border on all sides to make it a floating box.
That light-up logo in the top left is funny.

True, I've changed the background to light (much nicer) and made the center banner 100% wide now, looks good I think I'll stop fiddling with it :P

Yeah, looks good.
Except for that ad, I guess, but not much you can do about that.

Yeah I know, but I can't afford shit as it is anyway :P
There's a reason why everyone use symmetry in their websites: Humans fucking love symmetry.
Sure it's standard, but it's standard for a reason.

Font is too big, change it to Tahoma 12pt. Also the login is on the left side in IE (i don't use IE).

Why is every element floating?
Humans fucking love symmetry
So much so we believe people are more attractive if their faces are more symmetrical, and we constantly seek a 'balance' in everything to make it symmetrical and even.
