• What are you working on? V4 (HTML ISN'T PROGRAMMING)

Checking out http://love2d.org/ I don't want to start learning C++ or whatever yet, waiting till uni to do that, so I might have a go with this, since I already know Lua.
I think the correct word is "all", not "most". Unless they're operating purely on voodoo magic or something.
Or they are just that bad at network design.
Chrome uses Webkit.. which is a stable/production-grade web rendering engine (used by Konqueror, Safari, amongst other "feature complete" browsers), the JRE is not part of chrome; and I fail to see your point. =P
Webkit only handles the rendering. The plugin interface and other little tidbits which might be causing the problem are not part of webkit. It could even be that the webkit interface isn't finished, who knows. What I do know is that bug reporting for such early releases is not constructive. It's like complaining your house is missing a kitchen sink when you've only just given in the planning application to the council.
Who wants wave invites? I'll share them with the programming forum.

Could I get a invite? noctune9@gmail.com
I would like an invite too, please. - at the gmail.
I really worked hard. I got items done, particles done, emitters done and player-fire done. Now I just have to rethink how to do enemies ( So I don't have to use crappy ID-system and if()-hell. ) Posting image later.
Chrome uses Webkit.. which is a stable/production-grade web rendering engine (used by Konqueror, )
Konqueror used KHTML, not WebKit. Webkit, however, was based off KHTML when the project first started with Apple making Safari.
http://s-swires.org/launcha/?game=550 With a mix of PHP, JS and horrible web design - here's something that'll allow you to play a game as soon as it's released just through a simple steam://run/ iframe. It scrapes the release time off the app ID's Steam store page. It's sort of useful, if you're impatient..
Love it. Hope you do the same with Dragon Age: Origins.

My other uni project. Just put the car model in, the texture is half done and the wheels will be coming later.

Want the source, just ask.
You don't happen to know the appid of the Left 4 Dead 2 demo? But since it's not on the store, it probably wouldn't work. Can you please add it manually?
My other uni project. You should add a special mode where it doesn't render the wheels and only renders the car with like a blue tinge underneath it. Hover Truck Racing!

It's like complaining your house is missing a kitchen sink when you've only just given in the planning application to the council.
I agree with you that Chrome may not be feature-full, but it is certainly stable at the moment, it doesn't expose many options or offer a dozen of extensions, but is fully functional. My point was that the "glue code" that embeds the JRE seems relatively fine to me, since the JRE runtime is initialized normally, and in that particular case, opening the Java console reveals that the applet is initialized and is loading assets, and reporting the bug to the developer (of the applet) at this point may or may not be relevant, at this point it's their choice to whether or not to investigate any further.
What are you working on wave
I knew it was bound to happen :ninja:
My other uni project. Thanks for the invite again. In return, check out the new Status strip. I've also started work on this again and you can see progress here.
