You connected to his Remote Desktop server? Why would you do that?
Rate me bad reading if I'm wrong here.
Darry's: Because he said we could put anything on it (he just wanted to try setting up a shoutcast first, though his cousin forgot to open some ports, so he couldn't)
Steve's: Cause he left the IP up on the picture, and I see by going to that ip in a browser it gives IIS (which is Microsoft's version of a web server) but on connecting though remote desktop, I am asked to login, yet I do not know the password.
Also, putting mod_lua on my xampp
Edit: My teacher fell down the stairs while holding books and a laptop, took out an old lady with the laptop because it flew and hit her
Edit: mod_lua won't be going on due to winzip not being able to open the zip
Oh, tell me if you have any success there.

Use 7zip. That always works.

Ouch haha, was it from a drop or just on flat?
On topic: Making myself a personal folio website, then I'm going to get back into SFML, our family is moving house so I've hardly had time to do anything recently.
Steve, your L4D2 demo calculation is wrong. It says it's released, while it's still another hour.
the timestamp was given to me, it wasn't automatically calculated. calculated timestamps have to have a store page
fixed it based on the new time: http://s-swires.org/launcha/?game=590

Flat...
whats the big deal about l4d. it's more repetitive than a korean grind mmo
You have to play it with friends for it to be fun. But I guess you wouldn't know about that.

rofl ur so funny xD ^____^~!!!
it's still repetitive no matter who you're playing with, troll.

Most games are repetitive, if you haven't noticed. If you find L4D too easy, try playing with the console commands to kick up the challenge a bit. Expert was too easy for me and 2 of my friends after a while, so we started increasing zombie's health, changing molotov burn time, tank health, etc. It certainly made the whole thing more interesting.

I think we're already there.

It's not a matter of difficulty, just playing the same levels doing the same thing over and over again, with a very small array of weapons, gets very repetitive.
Does anyone have any tips on making an iPhone app? I'd make one on my Windows 7 :smug: but Apple won't release it for Windows. Though my friend has a MSI Wind Netbook or something and he's actually dualbooting OSX and XP.
I've signed up for ADC (the Apple dev site) and they gave me samples, but I then found out I need to have a mac to use the SDK
Also, what language is it? C++ or isn't it like Coco or something?

wait a minute, I will only be able to run my apps in the simulator, but not in my iphone unless I pay $99 or so

It's in objective c. With the Coco touch interface.

You can also mix C++ with Objective-C

Some devs are able to link multiple iPhones to their accounts. I remember seeing a bunch of them selling their "linkage" or whatever you wanna call it for like $10 more or less. I'm not sure if that's still going on though.
Here’s the difference: when downloading the free Software Development Kit from Apple, what you are downloading is the bare minimum application-set
(distribution via Apple Inc. not included). Basically this means that applications such as Xcode IDE, instruments, iPhone simulator, frameworks and samples, compilers, and the shark analysis tool are all included in the free package. Unfortunately,
being the free version, you can only run your developed application(s) in a simulator (to test functionality), but you cannot actually run it straight from the iPhone.

also I'd prefer not to jailbreak my phone
Steve, your L4D2 demo calculation is wrong. It says it's released, while it's still another hour.
That would be my fault, sorry.
I based the release on the "usual" 12 noon PST Valve Time™ for the release, but that seems to be wrong.
Oh well, the demo release got delayed way past that time anyway.

No, that's the binary representation of the characters "1","1","0","0" in ASCII code.
1100 in binary is 10001001100.

It's far better with it jailbroken. Sure, you can't update so fast, but the freedom is great. I was skeptic at first, but the worst it can do is force you to restore, (well, it could brick your phone, but even then you can get a new one free), so I gave it a go, it's freakin' epic. So fuck you Apple and you're retarded closed policy.
On topic, wrote a little hook system for my Love2D game (just like GMod's, actually), plus a few core functions I love like printTable and yadda yadda. Now I've actually got to code the game *sigh*

Yep, the new timestamp is 1256731200.
I just made some trippy shit.
#include <windows.h>
#include <math.h>
#include <time.h>
int main()
{
srand(time(0));
while(!GetAsyncKeyState(0x23))
{
int radius = rand() % 1999 + 1;
int xCenter = GetSystemMetrics(SM_CXSCREEN) / 2, yCenter = GetSystemMetrics(SM_CYSCREEN) / 2;
double x, y, r2;
COLORREF color = RGB(rand() % 254 + 1,
rand() % 254 + 1,

HDC screen = GetDC(0);
r2 = (double)radius * (double)radius;
for(x = -radius; x <= radius; x++)

y = sqrt(r2 - x * x) + 0.5;

SetPixel(screen, xCenter + (int)x, yCenter - (int)y, color);
