That's the source of Zombie Master, a popular Sourcemod. It was released couple years back.

What the fuck? You say in your OP that it's using Unity3d but your project layout is clearly from Source.
Knew it! unity 3d my white pasty hairy ass
hahahahaha why

Come back with a prototype, then you'll get some more interest.
So why won't you show us progress? Are you scared?

First, it doesn't sound like it's "your" idea anyway, since you want to revive a mod. Second, if you're paranoid about sharing your ideas, read this.

it won't be the same as the last, it a modern update and new taste.
It's not very professional in here. The guy is making all the rookie mistakes yeah, but do you guys have to make him the butt of the whole joke? If we did this to everyone who wanted to get into the games industry we would not have an industry at all. Help him see why it's worth doing it the way you guys want instead of just shunning him as a n00b.
Yunggblack: you made a common rookie mistake in not planning enough out on paper before jumping in with both feet. You need to have a plan before starting out on a project.
Hey guys..ironphoenix here from the mapping section...Pinecleandog sent me this thread, and after the initial hilarity, i decided to wander in, throw a few helpful hints, be ignored by the op...the cycle that is the ideas guy posting in any section...
So, first off, read this: http://darkironphoenix.blogspot.com/2011/08/im-boredof-zombie-shooter.html
Now, you have read why i am sick of zombie games. So, lets throw some ideas around. I am currently learning coding in order to build enginerium, a survival game with no mobs. It is in unity, and what is special is that i am the one learning how to make it in order to make it.
You cannot be an ideas guy in a game development situation. Even those who design games need to know how to script, or make textures, or model...as games design takes up a relativly small part of the process. Don't dispair though, if you have the drive to create, then you will learn what you need in order to make it. So, here are the top tips on creating a kick arse first thread.
1. Learn as much as you can about the engine, and know what it supports, and what codebase you are going to be using. I am using the unity3d engine, with javascript as my codebase. It's a little different to delphi...but more used in the world.
2. Tell us what seperates the game from every other zombie shooter out there. So, Enginatium takes place on a series of crippled spaceships. It is your role to run around repairing things before they get worse. A cracked oxygen pipe could rupture and tear a hole in the ship, so you have to repair faults with whatever comes to hand before the ship is torn apart.
3. Add some concept art, show diagrams, or even real pictures of places it will take place in. Make the first post loud and inviting. Draw your victims in with promises of free dead dogs, or a hug with a creeper. Be funny, show off exiting concepts, go wild.

You can't just "reformat" code to a different engine. You will have to rewrite everything since the source code is only for source engine.
Why do you all even bother to reply to this guy? Report it as spam and move on so we can purge this kind of shit from the subforum.
Purged.

That's just retarded. 99.99% of all ideas are worth nothing, unless you're doing Tetris or Minecraft or Pong (in their appropriate time periods obviously), the execution matters much much more than the idea.
Hell, just looks at the most popular games of last 5 years.
[editline]6th December 2011[/editline]
That's why there are no dedicated "ideas guys" in the gamedev business (no, game designers are not "ideas guys").

You actually probably could have left this one closed...
