Trying logging in and tell me if you have any troubles, specially on mobile devices. This copy can change state (online, away, busy, offline), display and update friends list, and receive messages. Sending and new message notifications should be added very soon.
I can log in fine but the friends button just loads a blank page - iPod touch 2g

You should just use steamworks for your app. You can use C++ for making droid applications.

Open steamworks is just an open version of the steamworks API that requires steam running in the background to work. pocketSteam uses the SteamRE library which just is a open source version of the steam network which is needed for the functionality that is needed.

Sorry I've been busy lately and haven't been able to work on it. I've fixed the dev server and it should be working now.

It works great for me both on my computer, laptop and iPod touch.
Any chance this would make it to the app store or does Valve not support such a feature?

The main site is broken, it just says Loading.... INFO and Loading... Friends. I tried the dev site and it keeps creating MissingField errors. Anybody having the same problems?
