I don't think it should look like that. Looks wrong. I mean the very small rays of light.

As easy as it looks to make, it was a pain in the ass.
PS, don't get caught with your hand in this app.
I made colors.

What are you using to record? I use Camtasia and colors appear fine.
On another note, the HL1 source is surely interesting
They managed to missuse private in every possible way, I basicly had to replace every "private:" with nothing to stop the errors from flooding :v:
HL1 Source? You mean the client/server dll source right?

More colors.
[editline]31st December 2011[/editline]
I think the light should be more intense. When I look left there's barely any light coming right. Also this mirror configuration causes tons of lag. More even that using lots of mirrors. I think you should invest some time in optimization before you use this in a game.

It's nothing to do with that, it's just gifs colour limit.
Oh and also I would like to see some color blending. Color doesn't go in stripes like that IRL, it blends.

It sorta kinda helped.
Finished my practice program for Morsecode :)

Only works on Windows since it uses Beep() and Sleep() from windows.h (Couldn't be bothered to use a sound library and a timer class)

I got a Galaxy Nexus recently, and now I'm learning Android programming:

Doesn't look like much, but the timing code is somewhat sophisticated. You can set it to update the screen less frequently (say, 4 times per second) to reduce CPU usage while the timer is running, and it schedules the timer events so that the displayed time is always a whole multiple of the update interval (e.g. 0.25 seconds), without drifting. (Of course, when you press Stop, it shows the exact total time.)

[editline]30th December 2011[/editline]
It is Not GWEN, after all.
I don't think you needed to explain that joke tbh

Now I'm imagining trying to use an application with an interface reminiscent of Google Gravity.
(you could make your UI accelerometer-controlled, that way it's like a game - try to get it usable!)

Let p = GWEN
~p ^ ~(~p)
= ~p ^ p
= ∅
Therefore your UI library is non-existent.
I made a Turing program that would animate the RickRolling Song lyrics in ASCII art.

God damnit, I'll have to port it to iOS if it's open source.

And then make it open source, of course.

And I'd love to (try) port it to WP7, and considering I'm already making something it's easily added.

That shouldn't be too hard, the app is merely a view, connecting to a remote server where Steam runs. It uses a library written in C#, which is why Steam itself does not run on the mobile phone.
The server will also be available for download, of course.
