iPope has programming project ADHD
This is an old project I fixed, so no not really. I just picked it up because I found out how to fix it. I do actually finish alot of things I start.
Anyone got any opinions of http://basecamphq.com
My web development lecturer showed us that in a lecture and said he knows people who swear by it, so I assume it's not a smalltime thing and that it's at least pretty good.
It looks like the kind of thing I'm after. Quick, ajaxy, easy to use, not nerdy. I'll probably get it. I started hosting my SVN shit at http://beanstalkapp.com/ - it's awesome. Exactly what I always wanted.
URGENT: Get ASCII rendering through OpenGL. Use bitmaps and colour them somehow. CVideoLayer should be able to render on a grid. Some kind of layer for GUI/World objects. Make a CWorld object containing a grid of CWorldObject objects. Tie that in to rendering. NOT SO URGENT: CState::setParent should be somehow integrated and mixed with removeChild. SPARE TIME: Draw up some documentation on starting a project. Research if the LGPL license should be used instead of MIT one.
My todo.txt.
Project pier is what I use.
iPope has programming project ADHD
hey now, that's not nice
I'm working on making an app for the iPhone.
Right so I finshed my game and I was looking into making other games using that style / system. I tried a few prototypes and realized how much easier it would be if I had an engine and set of tools to use, to make life easier. So I'm working on getting the base engine functionality up and having an item system, rather than just using colour checking, like I did for the gems in Mini People - Escape From Monochrome Island.
Oh god, Objective C... :sigh:
It's really not that bad. := is a cool token :v:
Hm. There isn't one. I'd like to create one, but I don't like the idea of dynamic stuff being lumped together with HTML. Though... "Post your websites" could remain as the HTML showcase..? Why are you using Rapidshare
I already made one but it's still in the programming section, maybe could garry move it?
Anyone got any opinions of http://basecamphq.com
It's meh, project peir is free and self-hosted, and does all the same shit, you should try it. http://www.projectpier.org/
Working on OpenGTA2 multiplayer. Now high-level messaging completly works, and I added very basic sync for AI pedestrians - they are running same deterministic movement program, and extrapolation is done that way. Even with 5 packets per second it's smooth with them - even I move their "target" around the map, the response is very smooth. Screenshot doesn't display much, but I attached rendering to dedicated server as well, to see state of the server (but it doesn't actually allow you to play the game that way). Soon I'll add syncing of player input, extrapolation for player input and arriving packets about ped positions (very simple extrapolation for now), add chat, and refine a lot of things: fix console variables and commands, so you'll be able to use them instead of hardcoding stuff into code, adding client list and chat (although temporary - they are going to be ran by scripts later), and rework how pedestrians are handled (right now every pedestrian gets PedID - his unique identifier, and it's kind of very confusing, when deleting pedestrians bad things occur. That, and rework how clients handled, and some weird very cross-references in some places.

Take a look at what atlassian offers, and they have a nice $10 starter deal http://www.atlassian.com/starter/

Got network prediction working perfectly. Now gonna nuke all this shitty code until I an understand it.
vs
You can change the style, it's free and unlimited, how is it worse?
ProjectPeir is an ancient fork of ActiveCollab from back when it was open source.
Yup, the old ActiveCollab is still around somewhere for download, but project pier is better :P
-;18589571']You can change the style, it's free and unlimited, how is it worse? Yup, the old ActiveCollab is still around somewhere for download, but project pier is better :P
No it isn't. ProjectPeir is a free alternative but it is not better.
No it isn't. ProjectPeir is a free alternative but it is not better.
I believe it is, ActiveCollab free thing is old and still contains some bugs, project pier is like a further developed version.
-;18589701']I believe it is, ActiveCollab free thing is old and still contains some bugs, project pier is like a further developed version.
Really? What features have they added since they forked it 2 years ago?

Garry, you can change the theme.
I'm working on making an app for the iPhone.
How does it feel knowing you paid thousands for a mac, and then $100 to actually get the app? Man, too bad I just got my new phone, and then found out it costs so much. I would've gotten Android. :eng99: It's open source, and not locked to a specific os, and the development app is free. Edit: Page 23
