What does this look like to you?
Man, I hate the hipster TLR damaged film trend that's going on. Ps, I have a Rolleiflex.
Man, I hate the hipster TLR damaged film trend that's going on. Ps, I have a Rolleiflex.
Mamiya C22 reppin'
Mamiya C22 reppin'
Junk! Would love a Mamiya medium format rangefinder though, or one of the Fuji rangefinders.
the top is really good, try that with the 2 lines instead of the icon
Looks good! thanks
Looks good! thanks
I like, but the background looks a bit weird now that you've added the colors.
Better! [editline]7th November 2011[/editline] I'll stop because I'm taking over. :v:

And you don't need to stop. This thread is made for this, and recently it hasn't seen much content.
Okay guys, last one. You can put your pitch forks away now.
Cool but personally I don't like the font. And you don't need to stop. This thread is made for this, and recently it hasn't seen much content.
It has a brush style to it though. I understand the thread is for content but the same content over and over gets annoying.
I think it'd look better if that background gradient was a bit bigger instead of stopping so close to the edges of the logo. It makes the sides look a little flat right now.
I wanted to make it bigger originally but the gradient scale is set to the maximum of 150 and I have no idea how to make bigger. Any easy ways?
Is this all html/css right now? Use an image or do the gradient on the container instead of the logo or something?
Is this all html/css right now? Use an image or do the gradient on the container instead of the logo or something?
It's a photoshop banner.
Use the gradient tool and make a big gradient on the layer behind it then silly :P
I prefer creating a block, removing it's fill then using the gradient effect because it gives a lot more control. I just thought maybe there was a way to scale it bigger than 150.
Working on not closing this. [t]http://i.imgur.com/JaLBU.png[/t]
Working on not closing this. [t]http://i.imgur.com/JaLBU.png[/t]
I closed it because I don't have an opinion.
I made this little one too. Awwwww, so cute.
Just set up a redmine install on my VPS so i can start doing more in depth project management for my client work. Too busy lately to just work from memory anymore.
Designers send me this: 10 minutes in Photoshop and I send them back this: Now, I'm just hoping they agree with me that their site needs a brighter color scheme and don't interpret this as me stepping on their toes.
It's pretty easy, just set rel="ID OF ALBUM FROM DATABASE". That's what I do here: http://i.imgur.com/ND97y.png and my fancybox: http://i.imgur.com/0Y5p9.png Please excuse me for not having implemented Twitter Bootstrap properly yet. :P
How did you set the titleFormat with that? is it dynamic or static?
Remember this? [t]http://www.gabrielecirulli.com/p/20111018-011007.png[/t] My school cares so much for their students' work that they accepted my redesign of their homepage and put it.. guess where? They kept the old homepage and snooped in a tiny-ass link nobody will ever notice. [t]http://gabrielecirulli.com/p/20111108-002959.png[/t] If you click the link I drew a square around, you'll be taken to my version of the homepage. That's stupid on a level I can't even explain. Secondly, on the "WebTV" description, I didn't notice that the "Visit" link, instead of taking to the WebTV page, takes back to the homepage of the website. Now, I know they never asked for this and I did this for free and gave it to them, but this just shows how much they care for what we, the students, produce and work on. I bet they slapped the page on the server without even looking at it and just called it a day, like they do with pretty much anything else. Also, for some fucked up reason they didn't upload the .htaccess file (it's not unlikely that they might have thought it was malicious) and so they rendered the no-js version of the page unable to be used. Nobody in the school knows about the fact that I did this. None of the teachers talked about it and it's just something slapped there. Today all of the students of the institute had an assembly together (600+ people) and I explained that I did this work and basically all of them gave me the weird looks and wouldn't believe that I had made it until I showed concrete proof of the page having been created by me. Good fucking going.
Damn those are pretty animations gabrielle.
Nobody gives a shit unless they know you personally. That's my experience anyway.
Wow, I'd be pissed, all that work for virtually nothing.
Damn those are pretty animations gabrielle.
Thanks, but at the same time my name is Gabriele, not Gabrielle. It makes quite a bit of difference, Gabrielle is a female name :v: [editline]8th November 2011[/editline]
Wow, I'd be pissed, all that work for virtually nothing.
I kind of knew it from the start that I was in for that, but I wasn't expecting them to actually pee in my face and basically say "thanks for wasting your time; now fuck right off".
