its the new gloss web 3.0 here we go
Wait what? Hasn't there already been a gradient phase in web design? Before the gloss shit?
Wait what? Hasn't there already been a gradient phase in web design? Before the gloss shit?
Gradients are perfectly fine if you don't fuck up at them.
i was more talking about people starting to use css3 gradients
I thought I'd never see javascript snow flakes ever in my life again.
Speaking of those, will they be back this year on FP? I hope, they were cool.
Haters' gonna' hate, but she makes a ridiculous amount of money from scrapbooking. I just halved it to 50, but just keep in mind this is for women who cannot into computer and became extremely excited upon seeing snow falling on her website. But please, it's better than all her competitors with their purple Comic Sans and Papyrus. Edit:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/let-it-snow/ Looks much better with this plugin than the (let's be honest) shit javascript thing you currently have. And how the hell did you make that bottom white image. It is all jaggedy and shit. Gimme a couple of mins and I'll upload a better one.
Awesomeness
Wow....
Wow....
Thank you :)
If you DM me an email address I'll send an improved image (no jaggedy shit)
I think I have solved my boring login problem. The background is just off a photoshop tutorial to see how a textured background would improve the login. I think it is working well so I will be knocking something of my own up in Photoshop.
it's still boring [editline]4th December 2011[/editline] wait what the fuck i don't understand. why is the submit button all the way up there?
I think I have solved my boring login problem. Your users are also going to have a very hard time finding the submit button.
fix'd
there you go bud
fix'd
i liked the first one better even though that may just be me also what's that font and how did you make the first one anyway
i liked the first one better even though that may just be me also what's that font and how did you make the first one anyway
Oh, the first one was off a Photoshop tutorial, I just grabbed it straight out of the PSD to take a look. http://photoshoptutorials.ws/downloads/psd/Strona%20Website%20Template.zip And its the Ubuntu font. I really like it.
A almost fully functioning pocketSteam, which is designed for mobile devices! You can now change state, view friends and send/receive messages. The only thing missing now is notifications and then I can release it fully. Demo is at http://dev.pocketsteam.com/
How are you creating scrollable panes for mobile phones? overflow:auto; doesnt work on iOS or Android. You get no scrollbars and you cannot slide the contents around.
How are you creating scrollable panes for mobile phones? overflow:auto; doesnt work on iOS or Android. You get no scrollbars and you cannot slide the contents around.
Did you try using two fingers? With iOS
Did you try using two fingers? With iOS
I dont have an iOS device handy right now. but as far as I knew the only way around it was to use Javascript.
How are you creating scrollable panes for mobile phones? overflow:auto; doesnt work on iOS or Android.
I dont have an iOS device handy right now. but as far as I knew the only way around it was to use Javascript.
Either way it is not very known, so one shouldn't heavily rely on it, after all it can get frustrating for some people. ( Like people with fat fingers )
I thought that was for zooming? Anyway, I've logged in and my friends list is blank.
How many friends have you got and how long did you leave it?
How many friends have you got and how long did you leave it?
80 friends, and I left it for 10 minutes, also I'm getting unhandled HTTP request errors every so often, I've been told to inform you :v: [editline]4th December 2011[/editline] Android 2.3.1 Opera Mobile.
Simple website idea I don't have time for: "timezonesync.com" or something like that. It's main use would be syncing times with people around the world for certain things most likely gaming. So let's say I want to play a video game in co-op mode with someone from Australia at a certain time. Well this website would let me put in the time in my local time for the event and then would give me a link: timezonesync.com/aIj9. I'd share that with my friends or whoever and they'd see it in their local time. Geo-IP for the win. Also, you could have an option to copy an image as well. That way you could make a forum post saying "Let's play at this time:" and then the image would show up in each person's local time. Really simple, shouldn't take more than 2 hours to make but I think it would have a small amount of users. 1....2.....3....go go facepunch webdevs.
Working on my college website thingy. Currently looks like a homepage for a health & beauty business. [t]http://img202.imageshack.us/img202/4430/myweb.png[/t]
