Now what shall I code with it...

I went from CI to Kohana, and I think it's way better, except all the community releases. Just a heads up. (It has a built in auth system btw)

There is another painting under the Mona Lisa, Davinci scrapped it and started over.

Well personally I've never got my feet wet in a proper framework like CodeIgniter before. Once I'm comfortable with CI, then using other frameworks like Kohana (which, if IIRC, is a fork of CI but has changed a lot now) will be much easier so I might do that. I was also taking a look at FuelPHP earlier: it seems to be a mix of CI, Kohana and Rails. It looks pretty good and the documentation is excellent, but like I said I think it's a good idea (for me, at least) to get comfortable with a simpler framework like CI before moving on to something else - if I feel the need to.

I'm just as ignorant. If I do know anything interesting it is probably because I was watching a Discovery Channel documentary.
Am I the only one who believes G+'s single post view would be better if it looked like this:

That's horrible. I understand the theory but not what makes you think it works here.

G+ is for people who can comprehend sentences long enough to demand the extra space. Know your target audience! :v:

Had some crazy sweet meetings about this today actually. Current goal is getting a meeting with the Governor and it looks like we're going to make it happen!
Unfortunately, I think from here on it's best if I don't post any more updates about this project as we're working on a lot of top secret things that we can't risk exposing at this point. In any case, if you can code well and live nearby, there's a strong chance of becoming an intern. Send me a message!

I've got a 1080p screen, 340px wide content would be eye hurtingly small.

Ok, it could be a bit larger and centered, but the original looks way too large and hard to read to me.

There's more to a comfortable line length than the container size. Just as important is font size, leading, and margins. I wouldn't say Google+ is that bad really, it could be optimised slightly, but still.

Which one pairs best with the logo font? I'm all for 11px.
I don't know if you guys have seen this before but I thought some of you might find it interesting.
