trying using a normal font (ex. helvetica). there's a few more problems but i'm fat and lazy and kind of busy and i'm sure everyone else would be happy to explain

There are many issues, like for example weird margins and spacing and inconsistent page layouts. Those are the first two that came to my mind.
What do you guys think of this so far?

The date will drop underneath, its inline so it just adds to the end of the title.
Do you mean more padding on the white or more margin between the white box and the banner thingy

Don't see the point in having 2 HTML5 logos that point to the same page also there is alot of unnecessary white space between the content and the footer, could you not remove that and expand the page when content comes in?
