Make the footer stick to the bottom of the screen unless the content is taller than the screen height?
The date will drop underneath, its inline so it just adds to the end of the title.
Do you mean more padding on the white or more margin between the white box and the banner thingy
The latter.

Still very WIP.

I like it so far. Going to keep it simple and top it off with some Codeigniter stuff for the backend.

It's hard to read the text where it says "created by..." because the background color and its text color.
isn't written technically incorrect too? I think Wrote would fit better
Actually I think you are right. Written needs a helper.
But you never say "This was wrote by blank", you say "This was written by blank"... Written is linguistically better and less awkward.
Instead of wrote, it's usally posted or written.
wrote = past tense
written = present perfect tense
I wrote that paper.
I had written that paper.
This paper was written by blank.
Blank wrote this paper.
Got another job at another start-up today. Now i work from nine to noon at one, and noon to five at the other. I didn't have to look for either job by myself, they both came to me :3

I will send £10 to the first person to solve this:
A rather tricksy geocaching puzzle ... ?
I have absolutely no idea what it's on about!!!
Sums ...... are not set as a test!
Take the following digits: 47,6,22,52,16,57
and perform a small number of very simple numerical operations on them to generate a mildly interesting 12-digit number. Here's a big hint as to what you need to do: 196.
The 12-digit number isn't the coordinates but it will really help you work out what you are looking for. Perform some different, but equally elementary, operations on the above digits and you will get the coordinates for the cache.
Corodinates will be something not too far away from N 51° 13.300 W 000° 27.800

Great criticism, I'm sure that well help him a whole load. I forgot we had people here that were born knowing how to design and develop websites.
I have a picture of one of my other classmates website:

mine is pretty much the only one with any effort, so good criticism is very helpful
Any better now?
• You should not use tables, as they're for tabular data and not aligning page content.
• Try to go with a consistent color scheme.
• You need more padding, and a larger line-height on most paragraphs, all your text is condensed and shoved together.
• Widen the whole design.
• Get rid of the "stitched" look on the footer, and the horrendous gradients on the header and footer.
• Possibly use smaller social icons, or ones that fit better with the design.
• The logo: Why are the S and R not blurred like the others?
• The background doesn't fit with anything

The colours are a hell of a lot more tasteful than my web dev classmates attempts.

Hmm, what would you use as a background?
I was thinking a plain gradient would look alright
For a background - you don't want it distracting from the content.
So either a plain solid colour, or try a texture from here: http://subtlepatterns.com/ .
But a gradient could work also - but only if the colours are a good choice.
