-webkit-filter: grayscale(0.6) blur(3px);
How widely supported is that by browsers? I love it. [editline]24th December 2011[/editline]
So unless they've got a patent or a trademark you're good to go unless you want to steal their entire website :v:
Yes/No. They'd have to issue a DMCA takedown and then lawyer up. Not condoning this at all, I'm just saying that if you wanted to you could completely/steal copy most small websites for personal gain. Now obviously people would come after and you'd get a ton of hate messages. You'd be able to operate "illegally" unless they actually lawyered up and it became a court case. All that said...no they aren't that similar enough. And even if they were...who cares? Yours is better.
do you think our concepts are too similar?
I don't think they're similar enough to have any legal standing against you.
How widely supported is that by browsers? I love it. [editline]24th December 2011[/editline]
Right now chrome canary and webkit nightly but will likely be in the chrome stable soonish and as I am using it purely for aesthetics I don't mind about browser support. The majority of users of my plugins use chrome anyway.
that's fucking cool
Made a site for doing vocabulary lists, mainly because I think they're bullshit. http://wordiken.jmazouri.com/ C&C Appreciated. I know there's something I can do with the design - I'm not entirely happy with it.
I love the script, very cool.

Re-designing my website [img_thumb]http://www.adamncasey.co.uk/upload/image/3629/d/o/[/img_thumb]
Going for the Metro look? Looks very nice, but I don't think the drop shadow on the calendar text really fits. The font on it also needs to be changed from Calibri (current) to Segoe UI.

It'd be clearer when it's in actual website form as when you hover over the highlight will change slightly
I'm more of a programmer, but.. [img_thumb]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4442544/wip.png[/img_thumb] Any CC is appreciated.

Making the margin horizontally and vertically equal would look nicer as well.
Hey guys, I'm looking for betatesters and some feedback for this HTML 5 Javascript Pong game. Would you be so kind? Btw, you really shouldn't play it in Opera..
I'm using Google Chrome and whenever I fail, no matter how long i last it always comes up, You've lasted 0 Seconds http://puu.sh/bzln.png Only extreme difficulty seems to work. EDIT: Derp didn't read

Once you reach the extreme difficulty, the stopwatch shows up.
Oh shit, perhaps just remove it because the user, like I though, might think the game isn't working properly when they see 0 seconds.

Just added block creation/removal. I'm going to work on a little menu now to select the block type and then it's time to start working on the netcode. [t]http://puu.sh/bAiZ[/t]
http://www.hassanc.co.uk/iDiscuss_laravel/public/ I've been working on this AJAX commenting system as a personal project for the past 2 weeks or so (I'm pretty slow). It uses jQuery heavily (most stuff has a PHP fallback if you have JS disabled) and some HTML5 goodness like history.pushState() so browser history can still be updated. The PHP side of it is built on the Laravel web framework. Give it a spin and do tell me if you experience any bugs. Also, don't mind the name too much, it does sound similar to Disqus but I'm not too bothered about that right now. To test the fucntionality that checks for new comments posted, open two tabs and post a comment in one and then check the other. At the moment, it checks if any new comments have been posted and then shows a message (similar to how YouTube does it in the comments section of videos). When you click the 'Show them' button, it loads the new comments. I might change this later to update automatically or give an option alongside the current 'Show them' button. It's in beta stage at the moment (as it says), so of course, it's likely that you'll experience a few hiccups. The reply feature also doesn't really work properly at the moment. Anyhow, hope you like it.

Yeah it does, I don't know why I didn't notice that before. Also, the design is pretty bland at the moment so I'm probably going to make some updates to it.
This is a really bad decision on behalf of the designer. Such a waste of space.
i really like this and i don't know why
i really like this and i don't know why
are you saying that you like that scroll bar?
are you saying that you like that scroll bar?
I think he just likes the looks in general
It definitely has potential. It's just not thought about correctly.

Nice one. One tiny complaint though in Chrome something is causing a vertical scrollbar (before generating any text), which is a bit annoying as it shouldn't be there.
